Really pleasant, quiet restaurant. The staff were friendly and unobtrusive and the food was superb. The arancini was crisp and delicious on the outside and warm and cheesy on the inside without any of the claggy, gluey stodgey "rice ball" feel of an inferior arancini. The pasta had the silky smooth and delicious feel that you only get with fresh, hand made pasta. And the dessert tart with nutmeg sorbet was a fabulous combination of absolutely delicious flavours. Next time I visit Melbourne, I'll be back to try some more items on the menu.

Delightful experience. We went for the Friday lunch special - entree and pasta.. both were delicious. the restaurant is spacious and with great noise control, The wait staff are very attentive and do a great job of explaining the menu options. The pasta is made on site and is the best I've tried! A great option for a business lunch or a leisurely evening meal :)

Foglia Di Fico is an absolute treasure. Superb quality and service and an excellent menu. The restaurant interior is very roomy and smart with comfortable chairs and minimal noise level. A great selection of drinks - including a creative flair for cocktails. The owner, Jerry, is always there to great customers and his helpful staff do an excellent job of explaining the menu and timing the food perfectly. Most of the Italian-themed food is made from fresh ingredients in the restaurant and you can be confident that the seafood is very fresh :) Its become my favourite Italian restaurant in Melbourne

Great Food and value. Highly recommend. Was able to book on line at short notice and secure a table for an early lunch. Service was good too - one of our booked guests pulled out at the last minute and the front of house manager was a little put out when only 2 of our table of three arrived. Sorry.

The food was divine here and the service exceptional. The waiters were attentive and helpful. All food was fresh, cooked to perfection, and beautiful presented, and little extras were offered. A lovely dining experience.

Had a bad experience at a famous italian restaurant in bourke st on Friday nite and wanted to go back home without going out for dinner again.Thankfully we found fogila di fico on Saturday nite and our experience there saved our short holiday.The most friendly,attentive staff and the food was so excellent,my wife had a little cry on our way home because she was so happy.Please pass on our thanks to all staff and we will spread your name to all friends and family for a truly wonderfull night.

Great evening. Friendly service, excellent food and wine. Very accommodating of particular wishes and not even pushy when you forget the time and sit beyond the closing time.

The food was absolutely delicious, super attentive staff, friendly and informative. They also made one the best cocktails I’ve ever had and it’s wasn’t even on the menu. Best Long Island iced tea I’ve ever had!!

The service and meals were superb. Menu prices were reasonable for such overall quality. The wine list is extensive and there are some unique Italian beers. Definitely worth revisiting.

We walked into a very well presented restaurant. The service was great as was the food, with their freshly made sourdough bread and olive oil to start our taste buds firing! Both of us chose meals from their fresh pasta section on the menu, and certainly wasn’t disappointed! The freshly made pasta on site was incredible. Highly recommend this authentic Italian restaurant.

Fantastic food and service. The waiter was very helpful in assisting with the menu. The atmosphere was great and I felt very comfortable even though I was dining alone. Definitely will be back when I'm in Melbourne again :)

Great food but forgot one item that we ordered. The service was also very good. Unfortunately there were not many people in the restaurant for a Friday so the atmosphere was not great but thats not the fault of the restaurant. Probably the cold weather in Melbourne.

The food was exquisite, with fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection. The bread, cooked in house and accompanied by fabulous warm oil, was warm and crusty. The meals were beautifully presented and our waiter was efficient, charming and helpful. We will certainly be returning as this restaurant eclipses others we have been patronising.

Went there on a quiet Sunday night and it felt like time stood still, (in a positive way). A calm feeling washed over us and we enjoyed the incredibly fresh food, with great flavour. Despite eating an entree and a main, the food did not leave us feeling too full and that is the sign of good Italian.
