Restaurant was warm & cosy on a cold Winter's night. Nice decor & atmosphere. Great food & lovely friendly waitress. Loved the salmon dish for main. We'll be back!

Delicious food and excellent service, steaks were cooked to perfection and entrees were really yummy. can't ask for much more. We will definitely be back.

Good service but need a selection of more types beers and house specials in food. Too many choices of Tapas( a bit overwhelming). Other than that very good.

Fantastic restaurant. Had several of the tapas plates which were delicious. The customer service was ace as well. Very friendly service and the food came out in good time. Will definitely be back to try out more of the menu!

Friendly, warm, relaxing with good food at a good price. A really good experience, well worth a visit. For us it was our 'date night' and served the purpose well. Tip: house wine is a very decent drop, I'm no great expert but we enjoyed it.

Coffee & hot choc were burning hot. Food was nice. Service staff were friendly. Small restaurant & a little noisy for chatting. Would consider going again.

Try the dry aged rib eye! Have been hearing about the steak for a while now and finally got down to trying it. Such good quality meat which was washed down with a cold pint of Guinness on tap. Great venue.

Amazing service, great food and price. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting tapas. Beautiful and not a busy loud bar style in the front room- I will most certainly be back.

Welcoming waitstaff. Prompt to bring drinks and take order. However, waited 45 minutes for service of food. I think this is unacceptable. Food, when it arrived was delicious. Only criticism was wait time for food.

Very nice atmosphere. Food was ok but expensive for the small amount we got. There was 4 of us and 3 had the snapper and the other had the Salmon. All fish was over cooked especially the Salmon.

Food was ok. Tried four different tapas. Drinks menu was very limited and the service was average at best. Layout and restaurant was a lot nicer than when we had been here a few years before.

Lovely atmosphere. no cocktails. majority of tapas were all fried options and very expensive for individual tapas. like $16 for 3 duck spring rolls (which were the nicest tapas we had on the night) everything else was fried/or in batter which doesn't sit too well at the end of the night!

Excellent! My wife and I shared a chilli mussels starter, then she had the rack of lamb and I had the Tender Ridge rib eye on the bone. The mussels were delicious and the lamb and the steak were cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and efficient and the restaurent has a pleasant ambiance - altogether very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic Sunday Roast Dinner. Great selection of root vegetables, yorkshire pudding, roasties, 2 really large thick slices of Beef (that I couldnt eat both as so much), gravy was really tasty and horseradish. Tasted just like a proper homemade roast. I will definitely be going back again :)

- Great food, prepared well, flavorsome, well presented, - Fair price (worth it!), - Good portion sizes - just right to clear your plate and leave feeling satiated, not wasteful with ridiculous portion sizes or stingy with tiny ones - Great atmosphere, very cozy, quiet, romantic and relaxed, excellent music (don't change it!) and beautiful soft lighting. Great venue for date night or relaxed night out, - Very casual service which is nice for a local, - Would like to see a larger wine selection

Really fabulous rib eye and I had the rack of lamb which was delicious and lots of wonderful green verges!! Wine list is not great though, but the food made up for it. Always love coming here

After our first visit in December we said we would be back a we enjoyed the place so much, so this was our return visit. It didn't disappoint! We took our son and his partner with us this time, and once again, great food, friendly staff. 10/10, and we will be back! Great value for money as well.

The food was tasty and the service very good. As a personal preference, would like to see one or two more vegetarian dishes but will go back again

VERY pleased with our dinner thank you. We ordered a beef taster which came out with 3 teeny, weeny bits of beef on. Absolutely delicious, but we both felt there probably needed to be 4 teeny, weeny bits as it is a taster, which in our opinion means a lot of people would share. We thought the food was amazingly well priced! We thought the drinks were a little expensive. Thank you, we will see you again.. x Alison

Always a good night at "down the hatch". The food is consistently good and the menu is great. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the food they are serving. Love having this place as our "local" go to place.

Our favourite restaurant, this was our third visit and as always the food was amazing, the variety of tapas on offer caters to all tastes, the service was friendly and very efficient.

We had a date night 'down the hatch' last Thursday,great place for a quiet night of talking and dining. Steak with 2 choices of sides was excellent and the service efficient and very friendly
