Diethnes Greek Restaurant

My patronage to Diethnes stretches back many decades and it has always been a top class restaurant with a wonderful assortment of delicious dishes with very friendly, attentive service and with a great ambience.

Nice atmosphere. Nice staff. Food was nice BUT I ordered Papoutsakia which is an ‘eggplant’ dish which is exactly what I felt like, only mine was made with ‘marrows’. I was disappointed

An authentic Greek lunch! We chose the lunch banquet and were pleased with the variety and quality of the dishes. The service was superb. Highly recommended!

We popped in early and were found a table. They managed to find something for extremely picky grandson and our meals were plentiful and extremely tasty.

Amazing food! We had a mezze share plate and mains. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Friendly service and very reasonably priced

We have been coming to Diethnes since 1972, Still Great!

Despite our large reservation (we were a group of 13), our waiter was skilful, attentive, patient and helpful. He checked for dietary requirements (of which there were many) and made sure we were well looked-after. The portion sizes were very generous, the food was delicious and everything - the service, the food, the ambiance - was genuine and wonderful.

The food is tasty but my favourite things about this restaurant are the atmosphere and the friendly and efficient service.

Diethnes is an old favourite but today service was poor. We had to ask for water twice and it took ages to clear the plates.

Food and service was good however noisy table near us

We are decades old customers who keep going back for special occasions. Love the vibe, welcoming and friendly, the staff are great and the food is always great. Large portions and very well made. They have maintained their great standard through the years that is why their restaurant is well patronised

Fantastic meal and service. I usually have the lamb which I think is their specialty, but tonight, the beef stifado was just as awesome. Highly recommended.
