The curry taste was good, but not particularly special. Annoyingly the serving sizes were too small e.g. lemon rice for '2' but barely enough for 1, and only 5-6 prawns in the garlic prawn dish. Luckily I wasn't hungry at arrival or it would have been even more awkward than it already was with my 3 other guests who were also hoping for more halfway through.. The costs given the serving size was also disappointing. On the upside they do provide goat which is a good meat for some...

My parents love coming here with me - staff and food are just wonderful. Thanks for a great night, I'm certain we'll be back.

I have been to Delhi O Delhi many tones and always been happy. However this Tim e both the food and service were very disappointing.. we had a few small dishes and a main. The lamb cutlets were like chewing on an old shoe which was very off putting, long waits between courses even though the restarting was half empty....maybe it was an off night

Wonderful birthday dinner, tasty food, attentive service and great outdoor seating to enjoy the Mardi Gras atmosphere. Highly recommended for a special occasion.

The food and service is top notch. This is our second visit in 2 weeks. Tandoori garlic prawns is a favourite. I can not recommend this restaurant more highly.

Excellent food, first class service, and (a rarity for the inner-West) tables not so packed together that you have no privacy in conversation. This is the kind of restaurant for evenings you want to remember.

In Newtown, at the most unexpected place you find a true gem of a Indian restaurant which smells of the spices and clarified butter tempering as soon as you enter. The food was gorgeous and so was the ambiance and music selection. The staff members were accommodating and had gentry to their mannerism. Definitely return to this place again. Loved every bit of it.

Excellent service: polite, friendly, knowledgeable, fast but but too fast. Wonderful food: men's not huge, so there's real focus on the signature dishes. The only problem was we couldn't stay longer as we needed to get the kids home.

Great restaurant! Beautiful flavours in all of their dishes. The staff are really attentive which is great and there’s a nice quiet ambience unlike many restaurants these days.

We have been away for a while, but our family and our friends social network have now returned , we like to make somewhere we all enjoy so much, our regular restaurant for all special occasions. We really appreciate the friendly service which created a lovely Birthday meal. Its so reasonably priced and small enough to have a family atmosphere. I arrived well before the restaurant was even open and still greeted with an iced water! Cakeage was free, corkeage reasonable, iced glasses available. A Special Place !! We will be back for the lunchtime Thali, our favourite meal!

The service was brilliant and the food overall delicious. Can’t give top rating because one of the dishes, was unexpected. But we will go back again because of its location and stand out Indian cuisine.

Delicious Indian food . The restaurant is located on Erskineville Rd near King St so convenient to both Newtown and Erskineville Stations. The service is efficient. It’s licenced but you can also BYO wine.

Great food, good service. We had the slow cooked goat and prune korma with parantha. The goat was particularly good. , with a rich sauce and ginger and mint

A local restaurant with nice ambience. Lovely food with pungent flavours and attentive friendly staff. Plenty of space between tables so no squashing people in. There is also an outside area with plenty of seating. This was my second visit in the past month.

This is a lovely restaurant. We had delicious food,including surprising and delightful desserts. The service was charming and helpful and it was very reasonably priced. We'll be back here.

Great service. Yummy food. Only very small issue was that we found the butter chicken a bit too sweet. All other dishes were delicious! We ordered the lamb korma twice!

We had the vegetarian entree platter for two followed by the Nehari goat and the chicken Mopala Murg with the plate of four condiments and rice. The entree was interesting on account of its diverse flavours, cheese and savoury and cooked to perfection - the Kofta was not oily and so on. The goat was moist and tender, the chicken likewise and on the whole most enjoyable. We followed with a dessert each. My partner had the Kulfi (ice cream Indian style) with Fig and Pistachio (no honey) while I had the Lucknowi Meetha. The kulfi had a savoury flavour and was not sweet at all. My Meetha was also savoury with a chocolate overtone and the pastry was delicate - once again not sweet but quite enjoyable. The in house vanilla ice cream was very good. Structurally the dessert was held together on the plate by toffee which we shared after eating our respective desserts. A very pleasant meal with friendly and efficient service. Afterwards we borh noticed that our stomachs rumbled for quite some time suggesting the meat dishes were quite rich - probably contained a lot of ghee and yoghurt.

Excellent food, excellent service from friendly staff. We really enjoyed our impromptu Saturday night treat. This was the third time we have been here and it is always consistent here. Will definitely be back!

Incrediblely good food, amazing friendly and professional service, the atmosphere is always excellent - every time we come they always rate 10 out of 10.

Great food and great wait staff, as usual. Caught up with a few mates last Saturday and had a great night. Will be going back again soon.

Had the chicken tikka. Good attentive service, tasty curry, tender naan. Will be back to try some of the other dishes. A nice night was had.

As usual Delhi O Delhi team raises the bar on service and food. I enjoy taking my mates there as I know I will not go wrong.

The restaurants vibe is busy but sleek. The staff attentive and changed our entree order as we requested a gluten free menu even when our wrong choice was about to be served. The Chicken Tikka entree we received was delicious. Slightly more so then the following mains of chicken and lamb as their sauces were not quite different enough in taste. The coconut rice was however exceptionally balanced with separated grains. Overall an enjoyable evening. Thanks.

sensational food and good service - exactly what you would hope for. what is also great is that menu includes a lot of dishes that you don't typically see at Indian restaurants so the menu feels fresh and interesting. Definitely worth regular repeat visits.

Excellent food and a nice relaxed atmosphere in the atrium at the back of the restaurant. Service was a bit slow in the earlier part of the evening, when the restaurant was busy.

We always love going there, service is very good. And staffs are always very attentive and professional. Food is delicious. Highly recommend it. Slightly pricey but it is worth it.
