Service was impeccable and friendly. Had Blue Eye for mains. Absolutely yummy!

A friendly place with excellent food. We moved from inside to outside as it is noisey and our older party member can’t hear indoors, says he normally won’t go to Currency for that reason. Having moved outside we had a lovely time.

The service is always lovely and the meals are always great! It’s a great atmosphere to enjoy a drink and meal with friend. I highly recommend!

As locals to Lindisfarne we love to support our community. We are frequent shoppers at Currency for both breakfast and dinners. We have never been disappointed with the quality of the food and the friendly service from the Currency family. Well done!

Had a great breakfast on a lovely sunny Hobart day. Food was hot, tasty and there was enough of it to get us through the whole day.

We had a tasty lunch with several vegetarian choices. The service was great and the cakes were delicious. The Cafe decor was nice and it was not noisy.

The food and coffee was very, very nice, the pulled pork eggs Benedict was amazing!! The service was prompt and wonderful and the atmosphere was very good as well.

My 3 year old grandson was with me and the staff were very helpful and provided colouring in pictures and pencils. A very happy morning tea

My girlfriend and I had a great Sunday lunch here. My Haloumi dish was tasty and the pulled pork my friend had was also delicious (a very generous serve). We had house bubbles at $7 a glass it was great value! The young waitress was friendly and helpful .She had to go and check what the fish of the day was and didn't know if it was a Tasmanian fish or not but she found out and apologised. We will definitely be returning.

Great food and service. We will definitely go back again. The specials are very good size meals and the cake are the best I have had for a long time.

Had coffees and Devonshire teas with the girlfriends. Great atmosphere and close to home, great waitress and service. Will go again and enjoy the service

Great food, good service, a little tight in seating but great otherwise, good menu nice to get a free glass of champagne for mother’s day!!!

My only complaint was the noise factor. You need to put carpet on the floor. For a table of 6, being old with impaired hearing, it was impossible to hear what the people at the other end of the table were saying.

Fantastic. Service great and meal sizes very generous!! The staff members were appropriately attentive and prompt. Nothing was a trouble. Even attended to the blinds when the sun was blazing in the window!!

Breakfast, coffee and service great. Nice atmosphere, did get a little loud when busy though. Kids half size serves great idea and prevents waste. Will visit again when in Tassie

Currency Café has a great "smart casual" atmosphere in a lovely location. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient and the food was inexpensive and delicious. Our party of 4 all had something different and we were all extremely happy with our meals. The meals were served in a timely manner as well. Excellent experience overall!

This is a favorite restaurant of ours as the food is always good and the service friendly.

Such great value meals available - why do more people not go?! We have Entertainment Book but chose to go to Currency instead - much better value.

My friend and I had lunch to celebrate a birthday. We found the meals very attractive and plentiful in quantity. Service was attentive and pleasant. Shall return for a breakfast meal.

We only had hot drinks, but as usual the service was great, and that was impressive because it was the waitresses first shift. Well done

Excellent quality and value for money. The trevalla was perfectly cooked and the portion sizes were generous. Even though it was very busy we had great service as they had plenty of competent staff on hand.

All four of us enjoyed the lunch at Currency. Very happy with our selection of dishes and excellent service. Great setting. Appreciated being able to sit outside on a pleasant afternoon. Highly recommended.

The fish and chips were beautiful but needed a bit of salad. May have been forgotten as my friend had salad with her schnitzel. Service good. Atmosphere good. Will go again.

Currency Cafe is a small café serving breakfast to lunch and mid afternoon tea. The day we visited was fine and sunny so we sat outdoors. We ordered fish and chips with a glass of bubbles and followed with a coffee. Everything was as expected, not outstanding and service was good. Happy to visit again.

Enjoyed lunch with friends last Friday at Currency. Service excellent as always, especially as we asked to be relocated to an outside table to enjoy the spring weather. Herb crumbed flathead fillets were delicious. Attentive staff during the meal. Minimum waiting. Great coffee to finish. Good vibes.
