Cookie is a reliably great venue - beautiful architecture and ambience (although can be a little noisy when full); delicious and reasonably-priced Asian-inspired food; extensive beer and wine lists and friendly helpful service. Visited with a work group and all dietary requirements were catered to without fuss and everyone left full and happy.

I still have the bill from our incredibly disappointing night at Cookie. At $324 for 4 people, it’s hardly cheap which is why I share our experience. The first waitress was excellent and impressive, however, after she masterfully recalled our order and made great suggestions, we didn’t see her again and instead were left with very sub standard service that included the wine not being available, - waiting for drinks, waiting for food that was taken away and waiting to find out whatwhich is a shame as the food is excellent and the venue itself is lovely. We didn’t get served until more than hour after our reservation. The food was only ok with many dishes too saucy/greasy.

Our waiter Sol was fantastic, moving us to a quieter table in the cocktail bar after dinner. The food was great and the wine list very interesting as we love to try different varietals. Our only negative is the noise level - some baffles from the ceiling would go a long way. We keeping going back to Cookie - yum!

We end up didn’t eating. The table next to us was friends with a waiter and got food and drinks immediately and we had to wait 40 min to get our drink, so we decided not to wait another 40 min to get food.

The service was extremely slow, at least 20 min wait each time we ordered a drink (it was our Christmas party). We had to order the set menu as we had 10 people & almost all the food was vegetarian. Very disappointing
