Fantastic food, thai, but a little bit different and more interesting than your typical menu. Took great recommendations by our lovely waiter. Atmosphere was fun. We will be back next visit to Melb!

As always the menu and beer and wine list are superb - literally something for everyone. The service was attentive, our water glasses were regularly refilled without prompting, the food came promptly and was well cooked, and our bill came quickly once asked for at the end of the meal. The atmosphere was relaxed yet buzzy for a Sunday night. The only disappointment was that one of our party had to wait well over half an hour for a mocktail, and therefore was drinking it post the meal. Without this, I would have rated the experience more highly.

Fabulous atmosphere and great food. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. You should see the wine list, it is literally a book! Will definitely be back.

Great food with a variety of flavors - Pad Thai and Snapper with green papaya-followed by an amazing dessert of coconut, papaya and red beans. A nice Friday night ambiance.

It was very funky. Had a HUGE wine menu and loads of cocktails. The food was different to what you find on most Thai menus. We had the ox tail salad, which was a first and it was a taste sensation.

Went with group of 7 @6pm on Sunday night. The music was far too loud for that time of night. Could not hold a conversation. However staff reduced the noise on request. Food was fabulous especially lamb,soft shell crab and lotus salad. Our waitress very helpful in guiding our choices. Wonderful wine list. Jenny

Excellent food & service in a very unpretentious yet charming place. Great selection of beer and wine and the least stingiest cocktails in Melbourne. Definitely going back.

Good atmosphere. Great service, Outstanding drink menu... Whatever You can think of. Good food. Little less salt and it would be great.other than that compliments to the chef.

Fantastic, service was great, food was great and atmosphere was great!!! We got the Beetle leafs, duck salad and beef ribs and all meals were full of flavor and complemented each other well.. The host was fantastic too we asked for a fruity wine and she came back with two options and her selection skills were awesome .. The wine was fab!

Most amazing food adventure! We had a few dishes but the ones that stood out were the drunken noodles and the tiramsu, you must get the tiramsu...best ever...better than the many I had in Italy.

Booking for 8pm sat night but long wait for table (only 2 people but seated at 8.40!), wait staff great but food was average thai and nothing special

Wonderful food, and kind friendly service. It was very busy for a Monday night which meant that we were slow to be served, particularly with drinks to begin with. It was also quite loud but I guess that's part of the atmosphere. Overall a pleasant evening though; we would go back again.

Great venue, attentive service, great meal. We had the Colonial Pale Ale and were very happy with it. My only criticism is that it's Just a bit too noisy. But of course that's because it's so popular for a Friday lunch!

Visited for a Sunday lunch. Seriously good Asian inspired food. The baked scallops were a stand out. There is a reason this has become a Melbourne institution.

This was my third meal at Cookie and I have not been disappointed once. Excellent food with unusual combinations and flavours, a great vibe and attentive staff. Highly recommended

Lovely staff, amazing food, and the best selection of cocktails. We let the staff know we needed our food quickly as we were seeing a show and it arrived really fast and was delicious!

Great service, great food. It's bit quieter during the day so we could hear each other talk. Food arrived quickly so we didn't have to rush in our 2 hour booking time.

I'm a long time regular at Cookie. The selection of beers are incredible and the food is awesome all served by fantastic staff. Highly recommended!

Food was great and service generally good but they were late with deliverey of sides being the only gripe.. Hence the 4 rating.. Worth going too..

Excellent service and the food was top notch. Recommend it for lunch, but book early for dinner as it gets very busy in the evenings.

The food and atmosphere are good. Service was a bit hit and miss but good overall. The food is nice but I can get just as good at my local Thai for half the price. Cookie and Red Spice Road are very similar, from my experience.

Solid food, good service, delish drinks. Cookie is great for a buzzy Melbourne dinner. Always loud so probably not the best place if you want a quiet night. r

I have been to cookie on numerous occasions and loved it. But this time it was not meant to be and ruined by really really poor service. All the wait staff chose to ignore our table for majority of the lunch, we had to keep going up to the counter and asking for things including the drinks list and the bill. It wasn't even a busy lunch service. Won't be rushing back anytime soon, will be taking cookie off my top places to go.

Great good. Albeit a little loud, there was a gaggle of women next to us that cackled like witcheea but the venue cannot choose their patrons. They had never come across redeeming points via Quandoo but they gave us $15 off the bill anyway.

Amazing staff who looked after us and the food was delicious! They have the Biggest drink menus I've ever seen. Great atmosphere and location. Highly recommended

Our party had a great time! Amazing service/food and decent prices. We'll defiantly be back for future company. We also loved the rooftop bar afterwards.

AmaZing food! Easy to book and great atmosphere right in the middle of the city. I go here regularly and is one of the few places is easy to get a table.

Cookie has it all. There is a rooftop bar for before you beat and a dance floor for after. The service and the food never disappoint and I always go back!

Would be better if the menu stated which curries were really spicy as we ordered the duck curry and didn't realise it was extremely hot, the waiter should have let us know as we could not eat it all

Excellent. Cookie is underrated and is a Melbourne gem. Outstanding, extensive beverage menu, and deep and rich food menu. Something for everyone, plenty of spice, solid service. It's a must.

the range of flavorful food choices was wide and varied. We ordered vegetarian options and they were tasty. The servings were generous too. Great service.

It took them a few minutes to get our table ready, and they were a bit confused about our Banquet menu pre-order at first, but once we sorted it out everything ran smoothly. Food came out insanely fast and was absolutely delicious (and very generous portions as well)

Food was beautiful but music so loud was impossible to have a comfortable conversation. We asked to turn down which they did a tiny fraction but then it was turned up again before we left. Also, service not fabulous - waited a long time for drinks and to order. No water offered on arrival and we had to ask 3 times before it came.

Really delicious. Beef ribs were tender, but fairly expensive (only 2 per serve). Green curry was amazing. Same with the rotti bread. Go in a big group !

Great food and service. Very enjoyable Saturday lunch. Glad we booked early as it filled up quickly. Roti and curry delicious. Cashew salad and veggie dumplings also yum. Will be coming back for sure.

The food was very nice I will probably come back but a bit expensive. So maybe when I get paid is when I'll come back

The service was great, the pork belly was as good as ever. the atmosphere was lovely and busy. Only thing that prevents a 6 was the drinks too a long time from the bar.

The friendly staff were very helpful and met our needs The food was hot and delicious and the wait for it was not long. I hadn't been for a while so it was god to see it had not lost its attraction

Amazing food. Bit slow on the drinks service (had to keep asking for water) but overall a great experience. Best dish of the night was the scallops.

Really Delish food! Great service. Our server was very knowledgeable and recommended some great dishes despite one of us having a seafood allergy. Highly recommend going here.
