Food and drinks were both excellent! Massive variety of options to the point that we couldn't decide and ordered too much :) everything was amazing!

Cookie still has it. Heaps of it. We had a fabulous evening there, great food and excellent staff. Couldn't have been better! Thanks Cookie, keep up the good work.

Loved the atmosphere, big food portions,drinks well made. A little noisy for some people if you want to have a quiet conversation . Very busy felt a bit rushed to finish.

Fabulous food, inventive mixes, delicious spices: far from usual Thai food. And it was lovely to try a glass of dryish-sweetish German riesling with it.

It is such a perfect location to bring visitors as it's such a central and Melbournian restaurant. Loved the food and the atmosphere. The service was good.

After many visits here, I am yet to be delivered a questionable dish, everything it seems, is good. Always Authentic and consistently great Thai food

Between two we got a small medium and large plate. Wish we got a small and 2 medium. Large was really big, good for 3-4 people. Scallops are fab and duck is amazing ! Flavors are delicious. Atmosphere is great, buzzing ! Would definitely go back. Menu is filled with gorgeous dishes. Waitress was very helpful and friendly. Cookie is hard to find, its in "The Curtin House" on first floor.

It was a very busy period between Christmas and New Year and table bookings were hard to get. It was also a very hot evening and service for drinks was very slow considering tables are only available for a strict two hours. The food was amazing, particularly the pork red curry, green curry and tofu pad thai.

Sadly this visit to Cookie was a real let down. I have lost count of the number of times we have been to this restaurant and the number of friends and family members we've introduced to it. Never in 13 years have I had a disappointing experience here, but unfortunately, this was the day. Despite booking weeks in advance and requesting a secluded spot, we were automatically shown to the table right near the door. When I asked politely if there was another option, the maître d seemed put out and snooty and made a comment about us needing to be out by 8:00PM - which was our original booking slot. Disappointingly, they no longer have Leffe Blonde on tap and another beer by Leffe that was on the menu and ordered could then not be supplied. We were also charged for this on the bill and had to ask for a correction, given if it was $3.00 more than the beer that was eventually supplied. My husband loved his usual - the fish curry - and the cashew nut, tomato and cucumber salad was delicious and fresh. My drunken noodle favourite with minced pork and green chillis however, was scant on noodles and had huge chunks of egg throughout, so it really wasn't the normal perfectly balanced dish I know and love. After years of having the same loyal professional and amazing staff at Cookie, the last 6 times we've been, I haven't seen any of those wonderful people who made our experiences so special and went over and above to elevate the food and drink to a whole other level. It's such a shame. This one sorry episode won't in all likelihood keep us away, but it will push us to find some other favourites in the city and ones that value their loyal clientele.

Tasty food, a bit confusing with all of the different menus. Standouts were the soft shell crab, and the lotus root salad. Service was a bit chaotic, it was hard to track down people, but when you did they were lovely. All in all, we would go again!

Fantastic meal, the most extensive wine list I have seen. The knowledge of the wine, beer and food from the staff was amazing. Our waitress was very helpful with menu choices and special requirements.

Great food, although I asked for a vegan pad Thai and was served it with egg, the rest of the dishes were very tasty. Very friendly service!

Staff are excellent, a bit noisy, but all the main dishes has chilli in them! If you like chili this is the place to go.

Booked for NYE celebration dinner and despite being seated in a corner where it was really hot, they accommodated our request to be moved to a better table.

Pork belly was super dry...almost tasted over-microwaved. However, service was impeccable!! Still a great venue, hopefully it was just a one-off disappointment. Cya next year. AS from the Gold Coast

Food was ok and service friendly. Great choice of music but it was so incredibly loud it was impossible to have a conversation. Very disappointing

Fantastic food - however service a bit slow. The menu features a lot of pork dishes - which makes selecting a variety of meat dishes difficult.

The food is always amazing, but the service was very lacking. My husband ordered a beer, which they had run out of, and rather than tell us, it just never came. It was also a hot day, and it got very hot and humid in there very quickly.

Our waitress was D'Arcy and she was hilarious. She made excellent menu selections based on our tastes and despite it being busy was always there when we needed something.

I love the share plate idea so a variety of dishes can be tried as all were delicious. The cocktails were great and the atmosphere was lovely and good service.

Great menu and nice service. It was at lunchtime and we were close to the balcony whose window-doors were open, and we enjoyed a view of the town. The nice weather made everything even more enjoyable.

Great food. Love the 5 spice fried chicken. Heaps of excellent beers to choose from. Lovely staff. I keep going back because I know what I get and what I get is always good.

Great atmosphere, great service, great beer selection! Our meal was well presented and tasted great too. Maybe a bit much chilli. We love spicy food but were a bit overwhelmed. Will choose more carefully next time. Will come back again.

Yummy food, amazing wine list and a feel good vibe. The duck coconut salad was delicious. A glass of wine on the sunny balcony topped off a perfect afternoon. I will be back again soon!

Table allocation was a little small for four people (a table for 2 was provided) even though booked early. Food was nice. Service was a little slow.

It was so easy to book a table at Cookie. I received a text message to confirm, and was able to change the time to an earlier time on the same day. Fantastic service, friendly staff, and delicious food. Lots of choices of beverages and food for all budgets. Highly recommend.

Great service and atmosphere but an off night for food! Unusual to get overlooked bland food from Cookie! Must have been an off night in the kitchen!

Great food, service and ambiance. Cookie is a must to restaurant to dine at however be aware they have a two HR sitting policy. Book ahead ax always busy.

Had a great night @ Cookie with friends from Toowoomba. Fantastic food menu and a wine list to make a grown man weak at the knees. Most definitely be back again. Service from staff was first class as well.

A fun food festive atmosphere. Four people, four large plates, four very satisfied tummies. The stuffed octopus and the steamed barramundi won the night. Friendly and attentive service. Music and chatter makes for a lively ambience.
