My visit was most enjoyable, food service and atmosphere was great. Very friendly staff extending honest and polite services? Food was Wel pop resented and very pleasing 😃

The food at Cookie is fabulous and the feel of the place is awesome. We love the place. It's now a new favourite of ours.

Amazing food great service but unnecessarily loud music like eating in a nightclub be it a super funky awesome one. If it was just half the volume would be perfect & still have great atmosphere.

The stuffed banana chillies were delicious and fragrant, as were the coconut rice and dry pork belly curry. The pork red curry with peanuts was okay, lacking the depth of flavour that the other dishes had.

The food is fresh and packed with flavour. The staff are warm, friendly and professional. They make great suggestions as to the food to try if you're struggling to decide from the extensive menu. The atmosphere is quirky and fun.

The food was good as usual but we waited for a long time between our entree and main. Had to ask the waiters twice to query when our food will be served.

Food is always great at Cookie, the atmosphere was fantastic but the service was sort of a let down. I remember it used to be great service but times have changed.

The food was absolutely beautiful as was the cocktails and wine. The restaurant had a great vibe and atmosphere and the staff were so helpful and attentive. Beautiful food and drink. Great way to celebrate a birthday!

Cookie always delivers excellent quality food & service and is the perfect place to take visiting friends and family. I'll be back again soon for sure.

Great cocktails, great food, great service. I cannot recommend this place enough. The green curry with chicken and corn dumplings is absolutely to die for.

Ambiance suited the occasion we could relax and catch up with great food and delicious cocktails The fried fish was delicious and the drinks ambrosia

Food was great and drinks menu very extensive our only criticism was the loud music which was hard to have conversations. Great position in Melbourne.

Great venue for a Sunday lunch. Not so busy when we went, which was perfect. I booked online but there would have been no wait anyway. Our group of 4 had the ground beef with chilli and basil, green curry with chicken dumplings, pad thai, green papaya salad, and ox tongue. All very flavoursome and tasty! Great range of drinks as well. Service was a tad slow but fine if you are in no rush. The food came out pretty quickly. It has been years since I visited Cookie last and it is great to see that it is still a quality restaurant!

Classy ambience huge menu lots of tasty options will have to go back to try more. 'Westside' Cocktail a highlight. Would've liked some dessert options as mains tasty but not filling.

Food is always amazing! Cookie never fails to impress. Whenever we have interstate visitors we will take them to Cookie. The roast duck salad is to die for!

The food was glorious and great variety of drinks Had the Pad Thai with prawns & Duck, coriander, coconut salad - very tasty! Service was excellent too!

Great food and drinks in cool surroundings. Lovely staff :) We shared a few dishes and they were all really tasty and spiced perfectly! Would definitely go again.

Love this place!! Food is delicious, vibe is fantastic and cocktails are amazing. Only downside is the encyclopaedia-sized wine list which is a bit daunting, luckily our waitress was more than willing to assist!

Once again Cookie proves why it is one of Melbourne's most loved restaurants. I visited with a rather large group of friends and as always the service, food & beverage were great.

Great location and atmosphere, really helpful staff, and delicious food and cocktails. Had a great time and would definitely recommend. The drinks list is truly staggering!

Amazing food, amazing service and great atmosphere. The menu has so many yummy dishes but our waitress recommended a great selection and it was all delicious!

Far too noisy in the restaurant so not the best for a first date. Wait staff could be more attentive. Fantastic choice for food and decently priced.

In a nutshell... amazing food, amazing service, amazing wine and cocktails!!! The food danced on your taste buds like Mick Jagger on stage. The wine list is like War and Peace - a long read, a good read and a classic. The service is beyond expectation - no words to describe it.

The food is a mixture of insane creativity and originality, I absolutely love the diversity in the food you get. Instead of a big bowl of the same, you get different dishes that makes the whole experience fantastic. There's never a dull moment and you just can't wait to taste the next dish. The service is obviously a top priority as I have never seen this level of keeping tabs on guests. Never for a second are you sitting with the feeling "ok, now I would really like to order a new cocktail". Everything runs like clockwork. The bustling atmosphere gives you the feeling of being in the centre of Melbourne. You feel like you are where the magic happens.

Booked at Cookie as had been once before and loved it. I love the authenticity of the Thai food. No bottled ginger here, real slices of ginger. Yum. We were joined by friends who had recently returned to Melbourne after quite a few years in Qld. I had two small meals (entrees). Thai sausage and a refreshing tomato, cucumber and coriander salad. We had a two hour booking but that was plenty of time to enjoy the food and the company. Next time I'm trying the beef brisket.

Booked a table for 4. When we got to Cookie we were seated on a tiny table right next to the bar, customers were constantly bumping into us. The restaurant was extremely crowded and hot, i am assuming they either dont have aircon or they did not turn it on. As for the food it was average i could have gotten better quality in any laneway cafe. The rice paper rolls did not taste good at all my fiance said they were "inedible". As for the service it was ok apart from a mix up with our order. All in all i wont be going back, just seems like their is no love in the restaurant and they just want to make a quick buck with all the tables and fast but "tasteless" food. Worst $180 i have spent on food.

All of the waiting staff were friendly, attentive and helpful without hovering around the table. We enjoyed the food immensely and a combination of two small, two medium and two large dishes was perfect for 5 people to share. Desserts were also delicious! We really enjoyed the bustling atmosphere too and where we were seated meant we got to be a part of that, but also talk to each other without yelling. A great night!!

Food was really good! Although the desert was served with straight alcohol which wasn't indicated on the menu, the staff were quick to replace it sans alcohol. Very noisy, but I'd still go again and look forward to it.

Good cocktails but sadly food was not up to the standard I had experienced the last time I was here. Staff were nice enough but out of the 6 dishes we ordered we didn't really enjoy any of them. We were very sad because we came for my daughters 18th birthday based on my and my friend's prior experience here. A big let down for us all.

Delicious food which was backed up by the friendly and helpful service. Take note of the staff when ordering. If they say the dish packs heat, then you won't be disappointed. Great atmosphere, could spend hours browsing the collections of books behind the bar.

I had a great time at cookie , the atmosphere is great and the food was amazing , I even loved the special cocktail they had as I kept on ordering a few more . Defiantly will be back

Great Thai Restaurant, food is amazing, Girlfriend and I were really impressed. Service was equally as great. A must go, definitely will be going back.

This place has a great atmosphere and great Thai food. It is a relaxed venue that still manages to ensure it takes its food and drink seriously. Service is quick and efficient from cheerful staff.

Great food service was pretty fast no issues plenty of vegan and gluten free options reservation easy to make would come back again friendly staff

Great place great staff. The food is excellent with a huge menu for beer and food. Cookie is one of my favourite places in Melbourne.

Awesome place. The food is spectacular and the service is brilliant. But I'd have to say the pre dinner drinks are always special with the awesome selection of beer on tap. You need to see it.

Food was nice, but slightly over priced. Service was terrible, slow and inattentive. Considering we had an early booking it wasn't that busy yet. However staff were happy to stand around and talk amongst themselves instead of tending to our table. Given the price to eat here, we were very disappointed with the service. Music was also too loud later on, found ourselves shouting to each other to try and have a convo.

Loved the atmosphere, big food portions,drinks well made. A little noisy for some people if you want to have a quiet conversation . Very busy felt a bit rushed to finish.

Fabulous food, inventive mixes, delicious spices: far from usual Thai food. And it was lovely to try a glass of dryish-sweetish German riesling with it.

Good atmosphere, very busy so can get quite loud. Their menu is very spicy so got caught out there. Otherwise was happy with the overall experience

Our waitress was excellent, the food was really good and great value for money. The only thing I could fault was the cooling system. It really struggled!. I guess it's to be expected in an old building ( beautiful and iconic as it is!. )

Cookie still has it. Heaps of it. We had a fabulous evening there, great food and excellent staff. Couldn't have been better! Thanks Cookie, keep up the good work.
