We love going to Cookie when we visit Melbourne. It has a great atmosphere with friendly staff and a huge choice of beers on tap and the food is beautiful!

Top place! Our waiter was very friendly. Wine was good quality and the food was exceptional. We are from Sydney and love dining here each time we visit.

Very good dishes. We were 2 and ordered 2 medium dishes and a roti. The only negative point was the loud of the local. It was uncomfortable to talk with your friend. Girl attending us was really kind. I fully recomend this restaurant.

A good experience for the most part. A couple of negatives - we were seated by the entrance to the toilets - never good! It was ridiculously busy and they seemed to have been let down by staff. We had a couple of drinks orders go astray despite asking for them to be followed up. Also the staff seemed inexperienced and not familiar with the menu - we sent one of our dishes back by mistake thinking they had given us a dish that contained gluten.

Well the interior has a good vibe, cocktails were decent, but the food was very average (even more so when you consider the price). Just didn’t live up to the hype, unfortunately.

Great food, huge wine list, good atmosphere, excellent service - they even threw in a free cocktail as it was my girlfriend's birthday - would definitely go back

The music is a bit loud but the food is great. Interesting fusion of tastes and plenty of choices for the gluten intolerant person. Go there today.

Service was impeccable, food was 'out with of this world' tasty and a drinks menu that has to be seen to be believed! Our little balcony seat allowed us the privacy we needed to celebrate our anniversary. Really, we couldn't have asked for anything more from our experience. Thank you. Came on recommendation, but will now be recommending to all. (Here on holidays from Perth.)

We enjoyed our meals at Cookie. The staff were excellent in assisting us with the choices of meals and supported us well as we need to leave at a certain time to go to the Opera.

we ordered two large dishes on a Monday night, the vibes were great, services top-notch, drinks were good. the foods were quite average tho. the cost was around $50 per person.

Great range of tap beers , we tried 3 between us and comprehensive list of wines by the glass . Snapper soup sensational , will come back for that alone . Servings generous ,we held back ordering another starter and that was the right decision . Great fit out and atmosphere.

Food was good, it always is. But the service was terrible. They weren't busy and there were plenty of staff on the floor, they just didn't seem interested in providing service. Had to ask for menus. Had to ask for wine list. Had to ask again. Took ages for them to bring the bill. Second time I've been and had bad service.

The food as always is so full of flavour and is amazing. Wait staff are always attentive and give wonderful service. The only small minor thing is that it’s very loud, great atmosphere but is difficult to have conversations over dinner.

They have friendly waiters and the food is delicious, however it is a little bit pricy. Great atmosphere and lots of option for drinks. Overall great place for dates or celebration

The sweet potato cigars are epic. As are the daiquiris. Love this place!!!

food was average,same as street thai food,nothing special. we ordered too much, the manager won't let us take away because they dont have take away lisence, how hard to get one. never go back.

Restaurant very loud & service dropped off after main meal served. Given bill & asked to leave before dessert menu offered and water glasses not refillied throughout meal BUT food magnificent.

Great food with a bit of a spicy kick and great service that's there when you want it but not up in your face; one of my longtime favourite places to eat.

Great night out at Cookie as part of Melbourne Cup Carnival. Classic Melbourne ambiance, food and service with a contemporary twist. Loved it. Went back the next night for drinks.

I was gutted to find out my fave calamari with salted duck egg sauce is already off the menu, nevertheless everything we ordered made me forget it because everything is just that good. Food and cocktails are always amazing and Cookie is still definitely one of my fave restos here in Melbourne.

Food was excellent but wait staff not very attentive. It took a long time between drinks and was difficult to get their attention despite it not being overly busy.

What an incredible find near China Town. The sharing of food, the amount of cocktails, wine, beer was over the top! The dining area by the bar is very tight and you sit extremely close to your neighbors and it does get loud

I eat these dishes regularly at Cookie, and they were not at the usual high standard I’ve come to expect. All food was served cold, a lot of dishes then became dry- which is surprising because the restaurant was very quiet on the Sunday night. The restaurant needs a deep clean... not the first time I’ve seen creepy crawlies in this building- but hey... it’s an old building- what do you expect?! Finally, I cannot fault the service of wait and bar staff. The combined knowledge of the staff is exceptional. Warm, friendly and engaging experience.

First time I have eaten at Cookie and it did not disappoint. Wonderful ambience, and some of the best Thai food I have ever eaten, we were a party of 7 and everyone was really happy with their meals. I loved it so much that I have rebooked already.

The food was great overall although our calamari was over cooked and difficult to eat. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The restaurant is very noisy though, difficult to hold a conversion.

My experience at Cookie was amazing, the food and service were excellent with a good selection of red wines to chose from. They have a large and varied menu that will suite all requirements.
