Very popular and busy. Went with Mum, the tables were too close and her chair was always hit by waitress passing by.

This venue is great. The tacos are delicious, the staff are friendly and attentive. It is an overall enjoyable experience. We have been there many times and will continue to go. Highly recommend.

Food is amazing, but service falls short in attention to the customer. You have to wait long before someone notices you calling for the waitress.

Great cheap easy delicious tacos on Tuesday night. It seems as though they want to get you in and out but overall the service was alright.

Always like going to Contrabando for reasonably priced food that is fresh and tasty. Tacos are the highlight and the main reason for heading there.

Such quick service and the waitresses were very efficient, great idea having weeknight specials. The wine wasn't very enjoyable however the pork tacos definitely made up for that.

Went on a Tuesday and the place was packed. We had an extra person than what had been booked it was easily accommodated for. Would have been great if the service was a little bit faster but considering the crowd, it was understandable.

Food was nice, but the service is not the best. We had to wait for more than 15 min to get the attention of the waiter. And unfortunately, they are not the friendliest... But as I said before the Tacos are very good!

Amazing food (particularly the beef tacos), great selection of drinks and really good atmosphere in the venue. Would definitely recommend and will be going back in future.

Food was delicious :) but service was slow :( I had two of the Crispy Fish and I tried the Crisp Pumpkin, both were fantastic!

Food was good, long wait for some of our order, had to ask twice about it, when we did get it was incorrect and we were still charged for it.

Great flavoured food. Relaxed environment. Good value lunch special. Easy place to stop in for a quick lunch or a business catch up. Will be back.

Tacos Tuesday ($3 tacos) is good value. The fish taco was my favourite. Beef and lamb tacos were also good. I will definitely go back again.

Came for Taco Tuesday and margaritas after work. We had the corn and fish and chicken tacos which were delicious! Staff were attentive and courteous.

Tacos are spectacular here and great value when getting 4 tacos for $20. The fish tacos were especially delicious. Add a margarita to the mix and you have a great way to spend your Friday lunch with work colleagues!

Contrabando had great food in particular the fish and beef tapas. Service was very helpful and attentive. Easy to have a meal in an hour so we will definitely be back!

Service was abrupt. Margarita’s were watered down. Food came at separate times and the excuse was that they throught we were sharing although we never stated that. Also bathrooms were very unclean. Similar to a public bathroom. Overall would not go back.

Really good food and service. The staff are friendly. They can be a little slow for drink orders when they are busy so you sometimes have to wave them down.

We had the express lunch. 5 courses of good, tasty food (entree style). the name is true to the service. if was very express - so good place if you're after a quick lunch and you're on the go. Loved the restaurant ambiance too.

Food was great. Table was ready when we got there. You have to fight for the attention of servers otherwise they will forget your beers and your orders (it makes sense because it is busy but still makes you nervous). You have only 2 hours for the table but they should remind the group 20-30 mins before the time is up so that everyone can order a final round of beers and food. They lost a good chunk of orders from us because they told us 10 mins before that we have to leave soon. If they had told us earlier, we would have order at least 6 more beers and more food. But overall good experience and will come back.

Contrabando was excellent I've been a few times to the newly renovated spot. It's value for money, great service, lovely wines and of course amazing food.

The food was tasty and the waiters were ways friendly. A bonus was that they brought out the food really fast, but on the downside the tacos leak a lot so don't wear a white shirt!

The team at Contrabando delivered another great experience. Friendly service combined with delish tacos was a great way to catch up with a mate. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

My wife and I liked the delicious food, chicken, lamb and mushroom tacos. Very convenient near our office. Great service. Will book again on Tuesday
