Comuna Cantina - Brisbane

I think that $24 for a basic Nachos is OUTRAGEOUS (May I add, the Nachos for cheese, beans, and pico is $16, you have to pay an additional $5 for meat & $3 for watery guac) - GYG Guzman & Gomez beats their nachos hands down and less than half the price. $4.50 for a 1/2 piece of corn....well I'll let you make the judgement on that and using 'tinned' pineapple in a restaurant salsa is just laughable. Seriously, with the calibre available around you in the CBD you may want to pull your britches up!

Delicious...had the grilled corn, plantains and guac, and veg and fish taco's. The taco's had good flavour combinations and tasted very fresh. Would recommend and would visit again 👍

This venue has fantastic fresh food, and high level service. Most enjoyable every time I visit for lunch. The drinks are great too! Thank you.

The atmosphere at Comuna Cantina was very welcoming, staff were always at your service and delicious food! Would definitely go back again and recommend to others.

The staff is super friendly, and seem to have fun at their jobs, which is nice for customers to see. We got the "feed me with cocktails" deal off of Groupon and it was worth it for sure! We started off with chicken bites followed by tacos and arepas and then we were treated to some of the staff favorites of the abundance sala" and grilled corn with herbs and cheese. We wish we could of eaten more because it was so good, but the portions were a decent size and we were getting full. We didn't get cocktails but the staff made sure we got non alchoholic drinks instead, with my hubby getting a lemonade with lemon juice (to simulate a Lemon Squash) and I got the strawberry pineapple aqua fresca. I was surprised the place was so quiet but we were there around 3PM, well before the dinner rush. We will come again, so please have more specials on groupon!

Very good place to visit with great staff. The food is a little pricey considering the amount that you get, but the food was of a very high standard. Happy to recommend this restaurant to other people

Overall, good experience with a few factors to consider for next time. - It would have been beneficial if our waiter notified us of any specials prior to commencing ordering. - We also had a vegetarian amongst our entourage, unfortunately her particular requests were not met with any severity and left unfulfilled. Her experience unfortunately led to being disappointing overall. However, for the rest of our entourage, we were quite satisfied. Overall, we were quite satisfied by the team at Comuna!

Brilliant cocktails! Full of flavour and very pretty with all the flower decorations. Also recommend the chip platter! Will be back very soon for more.

Food is fresh and tasty especially love the Sangria and arepas pulled pork! Also the service is very quick great for a quick midweek meal before a movie!

Chefs need to learn how to prepare food so it can be delivered for the whole table at once. Not saying they have to have 20 meals ready at once, but delivering 2 by 2 by 3 by 2 over the course of 20 minutes is a fail in my books. Food was tasty though.

Great experience, will definitely return. Really enjoyed the abundance bowl, good to see there are real healthy alternatives to enjoy out with friends. Maybe the staff could get a better knowledge of the cocktails and what to recommend. Apart from that, AMAZING!

Music was too loud, the waitress did turn it down a tad when asked. Chips were nice and crispy but way too salty! Overall a decent experience.

Restaurant has a nice vibe with friendly staff and good service. There's a good special of $10 for either two tacos or an enchilada. 2% surcharge on American Express, though, which spoiled the experience a bit.

Service was extremely slow which was confusing as it was a Tuesday evening. The food was average. The table was unbearably uneven and wobbly, but nothing was done to fix it. I won't be hurrying back.
