Colombo Social offers excellent food, an imaginative take on traditional Sri Lankan cuisine, and impeccable service. That the restaurant employs refugees making their way in the community is an added bonus. Thanks!

Visited the first night this restaurant reopened post Covid. Atmosphere was upbeat and they a great job of utilising the space well to distance diners. Food as always was amazing with a mix of wonderful spices, it’s a bonus to be able to combine a truly enjoyable dining experience with great social outcomes.

Such a great venue - the whole vibe is great. Food was INCREDIBLE, it was so delicious and we did the set menu and were soooo full. Cocktails good too. Service good too. Definitely recommend.

The food and drinks were really good and authentic. However they took quite a while to get us our table which was fine. The most disappointing part was we ordered a few things some hoppers, some crab taco things, goat curry and chicken kotttu. The kottu never made it to the table when we raised it with wait staff they said the kitchen was closed and somehow the kitchen missed that part of our order. Had to go to the kebab shop next door to eat coz we were still hungry after all that.

Food is nice, but overpriced for what you get and it's very slow coming out of the kitchen - our main came in 2 stages, 20 minutes apart..

Unfortunately the focus on convid 19 caused the restaurant to be a little empty but the other all experience was awesome and we hope to visit again after the virus issue is over

Incredible place, atmosphere, and most importantly food! Brought us both straight back to Sri Lanka! Couldn't have had a better experience!

The staff were lovely but we had to wait a long time after the bowl of chickpeas arrived .. we had had quite a bit to drink by the time the next food arrived. It was a Wednesday so not sure how a really busy night would be. The food was great and I'd like to go back to try some different dishes, but the noise level was SO high I'm not sure I will. We could hardly hear the run-through of the menu, and it was hard to have a conversation. Love the look of the restaurant but some acoustic panels would be an idea.

Absolutely lovely venue. Great atmos. Incredible flavour and spices, food cooked to perfection, melts in your mouth. Staff exceptional, in knowledge and service. Can't wait to come back again.

Food ranged from good to average. Cocktails were a disappointment. Also kept rushing us as they had a booking two hours after us but didn't tell us till half way through.

Love at first sight, every dish was exceptional. Distinct flavours and just delicious. You can smell the different spices the minute you enter the restaurant. Can’t wait to go back!
