Cha Chis Mexican Cantina

This was my family's 2nd time and will be back.

Very spacious seating for our party of 10. The waitress we had was knowledgeable, courteous, accommodating and friendly. Food was absolutely divine - best Mexican food we've had in a long time. We had 2 people from Melbourne with us and they were thrilled with the size portions and value for money. :-)

Tasty food, service was pretty poor. Lots of confusion with staff as to what was ordered. Wrong desserts brought out and got told that that was what was ordered...

average food , have been there now but we wont be going back in a hurry.. surroundings are nice and our waitress was nice too.

Great atmosphere, really friendly staff, quirky decor- got my order slightly mixed up which was a little disappointing, but Wont stop me from going back again.

Atmosphere was great- I got the Cha chis combo and it was great and very filling it wasgood to get a taste of everything. My partner got the chicken deep fried burrito and commented that it's the best one he's tasted.. his plate was clear. We also tried the mango beer- very refreshing as well as a lemon margarita which was also amazing. I've always driven past this place and I'm glad we finally dined in! Definitely coming back

Very tasty and enjoyable meal. Tortillas were fantastic. Margaritas were great. Very friendly and fast service. Atmosphere was very authentic Mexican. Would highly recommend for a wonderful eating experience

All you can eat for under $20. The only thing I hated is that they charge you $1 for split bills.. im sure they can work out the value of a split bill with out the extra charging.

We thoroughly enjoyed taking our granddaughter to Cha Chis for her first Mexican experience which she loved. The food was delicious, the service was really good and so was the ambience. Looking forward to our next meal there

they seemed to be under staffed, front of house tried best to be positive. But to arrive at 7.15 not to be served till 8.00woth food coming out at 9.00 is not good enough. They were pumping out Uber eats quickly and regularly but forgetting about the people inside the actually restaurant

The food was yum and the desserts were divine. Initially the waitress was quite rude and we felt like walking out, but things settled and we enjoyed the evening.

The food was bland and the tortilla chips not very crunchy. All you can eat special came from a cart and the service provided was poor. Seating was uncomfortable and would NOT visit this restaurant for all you can eat again.

Food exceptional and the service brilliant. Such cheerful waitresses, which just adds to the already great atmosphere! We always have a great time at Cha Chis! :-)

Nice family atmosphere on a cold wet Thursday night. Staff looked after us without overdoing things. Food was delicious. We chose a variety of mains and shared.

Lovely waitress who was so kind to my children and fun! She even made one of our burritos at the table for us. Wonderful sangria! Such a fun night!

It was very nice experience for Mexican food and was awesome surprise dinner for my wife’s birthday. We definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

First time there. We liked the atmosphere. The food was pretty good. Great value for money. Just a suggestion not a complaint but they should have more staff on.

Cha Chis Mexican Cantina is a great restaurant and it has got a really good atmosphere. The staff were really friendly & welcoming and the food was fresh and quick to come out! Overall experience we are very happy!

Meals were nice, however, we were left high and dry when it came to drinks. We had our original drink orders brought out, but no-one came back again to ask if we wanted more drinks, which we did. In the end of of our sons went up to the counter and asked for a bottle of water as we had given up on ordering 'real drinks'. We weren't offered desserts either so we paid our bill and left.

Good food and service. Friendly staff. The atmosphere was nice. Look forward to trying the all you can eat on a Monday or Tuesday. The corn on the cob was tasty leaving me wanting more.

Awesome restuarante, great atmosphere, the food is divine and $20 for all youcan eat you really can't go wrong. Do yourself a favour, next Monday or Tuesday get down to Cha Chi's Mexican cantina and find out what all the fuss is about!!

Fast and friendly service with wonderful taste of Mexican food. I Just think the parking area is a bit narrow. If possible, please add more parking lots.

Our waitress was absolutely delightful and the food was brilliant! We could have easily continued drinking sangria til the early hours as it was perfectly fruity and refreshing.

We have been going to Cha Chis for nearly 20 years (in fact the first meal that my wife and I ever had together was at Cha Chis). Since our last visit there has clearly been a change in management. The nachos serving was very small and for $20 that was very disappointing. My meal was also served cold and was average even when returned. Overall the food quality was much lower than it has been in the past. Service was good but slow. They did give a complimentary drink and a $10 voucher to apologise for the cold food which was good. Overall experience was poor and I am sad to say given how long we have been coming to the restaurant that we will not be returning.

Updated menu and fantastic flavours in both the food and the drinks. Staff were friendly and attentive. Restaurant is a little dark and is difficult to read the menu for those of us with vision issues.

Came here to try the all you eat tacos, nachos and burritos. Was not disappointed. Great hospitality. Great atmosphere. Restaurant was beautiful. Tried a ‘NEW’ corn dish off the regular menu, that was great. Could only have a few bites though as I was stuffed from eating too much. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.

we enjoyed the food and margaritas! Had to use bathroom in adjacent hotel which was a bit strange. Friendly and fairly prompt service. Would go again

Great authentic Mexican dishes. Good friendly service. Parking was the only hassle. It’s a pity that it’s so far from home otherwise we would go on a regular basis.

The food is very good. The place has a nice ambiance. The service can be a bit slow sometimes. But overall a very pleasant dining experience.

The service provided by the waitress (Indian) was extremely efficient, friendly and her manner was second to none. Our neighbour who invited us here several weeks prior to this visit, actually asked after her as he had similar experience. The food was, as before, very good but unfortunately my heavy cold dulled my taste buds. We will probably go again next week with other friends. The atmosphere - entrance and setting with the bridge etc. is very peaceful.

Excellent food and service. It is difficult to find great Mexican food in Australia but Cha Chis is an exception. We are regular customers!! Also lots of specials to make it an affordable experience.

They were not very busy, service was very poor, slow. Food was very average, all tasted the same. Very bland. We will not be returning.

Such a fantastic Mexican restaurant. We always feel so welcomed here. Food is amazing and so is the staff!! My partner and I get take away from here at least once a fortnight.
