Cecconi's never disappoints with great food, great wine list, great service and the ambience is just wonderful. For special occasions this is a must, with the high standard being maintained over many years of our patronage.

This was my first time at Cecconi's and the experience was outstanding. Food is sensational, and the lovely lady who served our table was very knowledgeable about the menu options and was able to provide some excellent advice.

A hidden jewel atop Flinders Lane, this Italian classic has lost none of its charm, nor its capacity to churn out delicious dishes. The carpaccio was sublime, the arancini a flavour explosion and the duck for main only made way for the sorbetto to finish the meal perfectly.

Been twice and could not fault the service. Always non-intrusive but prompt. Nice ambience and comfortable seats - Great for catching up or for special occasion. Food was acceptable for the price, not brilliant.

We went on a Saturday night on November; the restaurant was very busy, but we still had an amazing night. Great service, excellent food, good value for money, lovely atmosphere

Good but not first class - meals were just warm, waiter not as attentive as we'd like, dessert was lackluster and the restaurant too cold.

Food was pretty good, but not really worth the price given what else is available in Melbourne. The dessert platter was left at our table with no explanation as to what was on the plate. The pork was pretty good. The tiramisu had far too much coffee.

Love the food, love the service. Am never disappointed at this place and my guests were highly impressed also. Can't wait to visit Cecconi's again.

Nice dinner. The food was very good but not quite outstanding. Service was good eg even though they were very busy. I especially liked the beef carpaccio

From the moment we walked in we were looked after very well by the waitress, the service was fantastic. They were very knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations. The food was fantastic couldn't fault it. Two waitresses even came out and sung happy birthday to my girlfriend with her dessert. Can't wait to go back 👌

Excellent service and food. We only felt that the menu lacked a hot vegetable side option, would have liked some thing other than hand cut chips, although they were very good.

Cecconi's is our favourite restaurant for a special family occasion. The service is always of a friendly high standard and the food is delicious. There is always a great atmosphere in the lovely surrounds of this restaurant.

Extremely friendly staff, the food was amazing and reasonably priced. Everything was so clean right down to the bathrooms. Loved the little downstairs location on Flinders Lane, it was very cute!

Excellent, professional service, delicious food. Hard to beat! I appreciated the wine recommendations, and the seafood bisque special was superb. The John Dory fillets with asparagus were perfect and beautifully presented. Very good coffee to finish.

Been meaning to try this restaurant out for ages. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. I will definitely be back again soon!

We have been to Cecconi's many times, as always the Food and Service was fantastic and definitely looking forward to getting back there again when in Melbourne.

Had the calamari for entree which was tough/chewy, espresso martini's were only 3/4 full and when mentioned nothing was done about both the calamari or Martini.

Food was absolutely amazing and the staff were very friendly. Even though the restaurant was full it didn't feel crowded. Great for a special occasion

Cecconi's was terrific in every sense. We arrived slightly early and were seated with pre-dinner drink ordered in no time! We shared a selection of entrees and then selected our own mains! My prawn risotto was delicious as were the other mains of papparedelle and gnocchi. A lovely glass of chardonnay and we were on our way to a show, with a lovely meal experience to build upon for the evening! Cecconi's never disappoints!

Food is good but not outstanding considering the cost. Not sure it's because we're Asian or with kids, staff is not very friendly and put the plates on the table quite hard. Hope to have better dining experience in Melbourne later.

One of the most beautiful dinners we have ever had! The barman made us a couple of dirty martini's as we waited at the bar for our table (9pm booking was perfect for us) and then we moved to a very comfy table, where I got to sit on the banquette seating. We shared all our dishes and the wait staff went above and beyond to look after us and suggest wines. Just fantastic. As we left the kitchen staff and barman waved us goodbye. We'll be back :)

This was a really nice place. Felt very private down a level from the road. The staff were really friendly and attentative. The food was amazing. Oysters and veal were highlights.

After initial mishap with booking, staff absolutely fantastic. They made us feel welcome and I'm sure they gave us the best seats in the house. We were a group of six, celebrating a birthday. The food that evening was a celebration of their own 10th birthday. So felt lucky that not only celebrating our friends birthday but the restaurants. The food was to its usual fantastic standard. The self saucing chocolate pudding just melted in your mouth. Cecconi's is definitely a must on my dining list in Melbourne.

The seafood linguine is heaven in a bowl and the service was so fast and the waiter was so friendly even the other customers were so friendly (they recommended the linguine) but 100% going back I have non stop cravings for the linguine!!!!!!

The service was excellent but to be honest the food was not really up to the price tag put on it, I was left underwelmed and just a little disappointed.

Cecconi's provided excellent food and service. The cocktails were incredible with a great range and all well made. Try the espresso martini! We had a great time.

The staff are wonderful and the food is absolutely delicious. Try the specials, especially the octopus if it's on, it's lovely. The service is impeccable, staff are never intrusive, but they're there for drinks and service quietly and quickly. It is pricey, but for a special night it, go, at least once.

The service was great as soon as we walked in, the manager at the front desk was very friendly as was our wait staff when we sat down. It was all good to that point. I was still swallowing my last mouthful of our entrees when they swooped in and swapped the plates with our mains. I literally was still finishing my mouthful. All within half an hour of us walking in. Then the same with the dessert menu after our main plates were taken, which I might add, I didn't finish because it was rushed. Chose not to have desert. I was expecting a lovely dinner for our wedding anniversary but felt hurried and we were in/out in just over an hour. Meh...

Ceconnis is one of only a few restaurants that offer a freindly relaxed hassle free environment with high quality engaging service. It's not noisy and you can take your time. Unlike most of the more recent Flinders Lane restaurants, Cecconis don't push their customers so they can to get another two or three sittings for the night. Cecconis is our favourite restaurant because we feel good every time we are there.

Comfortable , good staff and delicious Italian influenced food ( comfort food for me) excellent dinner relaxing away from the computer catching up with friends

Beautiful food, extensive wine list, lovely setting, and the staff let us take our time throughout the whole evening, which is exactly what we wanted. Bravo!

Great service - but didn't enjoy my meal. Ordered Veal Cotoletta and it was served extremely rare and lots of fat. Maybe I ordered badly
