Amazing Spanish food in the heart of Sydney, will defiantly eat here again

A great dinner! We arrived early and they were happy to seat us. The service was great and the food fantastic. One of, if not the last Spanish restaurant in what was the Spanish Quarter in Sydney! Do yourself a favour and try their Tapas! You won't be disappointed.

Food was good but a bit salty. Restaurant was a bit hot and humid, it would be good to have cool air or air-conditioning.. but overall the dinner was good

Food was average and while the proteins were cooked well all the sauces lacked in flavour and were over priced for what we received. Wine list lack diversity for the charged prices

Yes, very nice but we left feeling a little different. It was our first experience of Tappas and would have liked some info about the food etc.

As always excellent service and food. My only complaint this time being a Sunday, as I wasn't able to be back in Sydney on the Saturday night, so entirely my fault, I missed out on the Flamenco dancers entertainment.

The food was absolutely delicious and the customer service outstanding. Highly recommend the sangria and I’m usually not a fan! The calamari and potato in mayo was delicious and my personal faves

Fast and friendly. We arrived and were welcomed given some lovely sangria. Yum. Food was ordered and came quickly. Was hot fresh and tasty. Busy little restaurant great for pre show eats.

The Seafood was not fresh at all and the prawns tasted like they had been frozen and were overcooked. I only ate one because I was worried I would get sick from them. The Paella tasted like Risotto and it was very expensive for what it was.

This small restaurant is in good location. It has nice food at reasonable price. I had two seafood paellas. The lobster paella had good size lobster. The service was quite good too.

Service was not very good, they stood 3 feet away and ignored us when we wanted to ask for something. The food was excellent, however.

Was a lovely experience. Food was delicious, service was good and the atmosphere was enjoyable. The outside table we were seated at had blankets for us to keep warm which I thought was a nice touch.

We were a party of 4 and shared a paella and tapas share plate for 2. Great paella and tapas at a good price. Friendly service from all staff including owner. Highly recommended

Service was excellent and the Chicken & Seafood paella was delicious but I thought the prawns & mussels should have been cleaned better before cooking and the chicken a little dry.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for about 30 years and it hasn’t changed a bit; it’s a Sydney institution and well worth a visit for the traditional tapas experience.

Flavours a bit bland and some parts of the platter not fully hot (temperature wise) . service and ambience good . First two wines we chose from the wine list were not in stock on the night.

Traditional much as you’d experience there. Was hoping for a jamon croquette and had to settle for chicken, nice enough. Fabada was well prepared and the lamb was slow cooked so easy to eat. I would have preferred prawn in the Ensalada Rusa and maybe tinker with the recipe a little or RE think the type of mayo used. Overall was pretty good and would recommend. As it was only two of us we had tapas to start so couldn’t try the paella which does look appealing.

Service was attentive with friendly and obliging staff. Our paella was very good, and while slightly drier than we would like it was very enjoyable. We had to attend a show at The Capitol commencing 7:00pm and we were very well catered for.

Soooo disappointing. Food is bland. I ordered suckling pig and that is NOT what I got. It was so tough I couldn’t cut it with my knife. They should have said they didn’t have any and I would have ordered something different. Save your money, not worth going.

Fantastic meal - tapas banquet for 6 including paella and sangria. Potato salad and prawns particularly tasty. Friendly attentive staff. Lovely setting/decor. Overall a great place to enjoy a group meal.

they dont sell some beverages or food that they have on the menu, I was disappointed to go all the way there and finding out there wasn't what I was going to drink

Carlos, the owner of the restaurant is an amazing host. His team of chefs and staff are Five star hospitality. Highly recommended. We will be back!

Good food as always! Loved the paella. Good value for two people. Service was also good. Very attentive staff. Wish there was some sort of loyalty program with the restaurant itself so I can go there as many times as I like. :-)
