Overall it was a good experience except several things. My friend's pork chops were over cooked and burnt, my Saltimbocca was not what resembles a Saltimbocca, and the only thing I wanted on the desert list they had run out of! The stuffed cabbage leaves were very good and their pizza's were very nice too. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very nice and professional. I would go again, but order my desert to be set aside as soon as I get there.

Fantastic service every time. The food was incredible and never a long wait. I would choose to come back here any time over any other place.

Great restaurant, very friendly staff and generous size meals which each person at our table thoroughly enjoyed. This was our first visit but will definitely be going there again

Very good basic Italian cooking at its best. Wide selection of wine at modest prices. Prompt, efficient and friendly service. Music not imposing nor too load (too often the case these days).

Service was neither here or there. The young waiting staff need training, plates were cleared too fast and our antipasto wasn't finished. Food however was spot on.

Excellent service & extendive Italisn menu. Pleasant ambience; unfortunately a noisy group seated near us made conversation difficult; staff moved us to seating outside at our request. Will be back!

Nice restaurant but disappointed with a few things. Our starters were excellent. The bruschetta was made with a pizza base which was different but could have been better. It was still nice. Our main courses were brought out immediately after we finished our starters. This really annoys us when restaurants push to get you out the door rather then enjoy the dining experience. They, took our mains back when we said that we weren’t ready. We advised that a 15 minute break would be good. Rather, 40 minutes later they brought out the same meals reheated. Mine was so hot that steam came off it for 5 minutes before I could eat it. My husbands chicken dish had several dry pieces that he couldn’t eat from the reheating. Further more, when we asked if we could take the rest of the bruschetta that we didn’t eat home we were brought out a box for us to put the bruschetta into ourselves. Normally this should be done for us by the restaurant. Overall food was excellent but they let themselves down and didn’t perform to the standard that they should for the type of restaurant that it is.

Waitress was polite, well presented and effect. Service timing was good and the food was even better. Venue was clean, neat and tidy. We will be back.

Food was good, had to wait for an hour which effected the score I gave for this review. If the food came out faster it would have been a perfect score... will come back.

Generous serves, fresh ingredients, fantastic meal, amazing service. Great spot to enjoy a Sunday lunch. Not to far from the Adelaide CBD. Be sure to give it a try.

Great location, service and food. A true Port Adelaide institution with management who take the time and genuine interest talking to customers. You can see that they love the business they are in.

Good welcome upon arrival. Good menu with plenty of choice. Food was delicious so all in all an excellent restaurant. I can definitely recommend it.

Very accomodating, great service, great environment and exceptional food. Staff were genuinely friendly and could not do enough for us. We had our grandaughter who was 5 and they couldn’t do enough to make sure she was being looked after. Very kid friendly.

The food and service were awesome as usual, I have never had a bad meal or experience at Carmine’s and would thoroughly recommended this restaurant

Superb authentic Italian at its finest. The staff here actually seem to care about their customers - they work very hard to ensure their service is top notch, the food is prepared efficiently and presented well.

Helpful and polite staff. Explained menu to use in detail. All meals we saw brought to the tables looked amazing. Our table all had pizza which was great.

Service was very great and attentive, though it's kind of a weird experience when everyone around you seems to know the owner and are all given free drinks, like, are you subsidising everyone elses drinks with your full priced ones? When it came to the food though, everything was very average. We ordered the special which was rabbit, so very tough. Store bought pasta and an overpriced beige antipasto plate. Don't expect much for your dollar here

Had a lovely meal for lunch of Lasagne & Garlic Bread, havent been for a couple of years and the meals tasted just as good as they did back then. Friendly staff and quick efficient service.

Great service and food. Would happily bring friends and family back! Recommend booking as it was packed from aroun 7pm. Once we had finished our dinner we asked for the bill but ended up sitting for another half an hour, the staff were lovely and never once made us feel as though we needed to leave as we had well and truly finished our meal. Defiantly worth a visit.

Food was delicious. Ample portions. Service excellent. Not rushed. (Plates could have been pre warmed a little. Sorry!) But definitely a come back to place😎 Friendly staff.

Rocky provided the most exceptional service which complimented the phenomenal food and lovely atmosphere. The service was unbeaten. Highly recommended place to eat in the gorgeous Port Adelaide.

We went there for Sunday lunch, the dining room was very quiet. The place is very inviting and has a great high ceiling and was bright and welcoming on a sunny day. I ordered a kingfish special at $33, as did another one of our group. There were 2 largish pieces of fish with some chipped potatoes underneath. It was served with a separate salad to share, consisting of lettuce, onion, tomato & cucumber. It was pretty underwhelming and I didn’t particularly enjoy it. There was no sauce and it was unimaginative. I wouldn’t go back and neither would the other 3 in our group. Shame.

At Carmine & Co we enjoyed great service, food and the setting was warm and modern. My scallopini was perfectly cooked and my entree and desert were equally tasty. The staff were friendly and engaging; their mood was genuine. We will be returning.

Excellent overall. Great ambience, menu selection is great and the risotto with Moreton Bay bags was amazing; authentic style risotto and not the usual over cooked mush I have frequently experienced. The arancini are delicious too. The coutrayard garden dining recreates a very country Italian feel; reminds me of dining in Tuscany. If you are looking for genuine Italian food prepared like nonna used to make- try this little gem.

First time dinner Was very impressed with staff and food It all had plenty of flavors. Would recommend this restaurant to others Wii be back.
