Great food & efficient pleasant staff. The outside in the fresh air was most pleasant, so happy we could Lunch there. We’ll do it again when they have the space for us.

We booked this morning, on our visit the staff greeted us well. We were happy with out seating ,we choose to come to your Hotel as we feel it is very clean and with the coronavirus we only want to go where we feel you are doing all you can to protect the public . So we also like to support you .

Lovely staff serving yummy meals great atmosphere even while in separate areas it actually felt more special to get a room with only a few other dinners.

This was our first post Covid19 visit, food and service were great as usual, atmosphere was different, not bad just different.

Highly recommend. 2 people we were having lunch with went to the wrong place and then got lost, so they were running quite late, I was stressed as I was worried about letting the hotel down and they were wonderful. Thank you so much for your understanding and fantastic service.

From the entrance they had their COVID protocols in place. From a heat detection camera , hand sanitizers and well thought out table spacing. We were lucky to get an area with just one other table and in front of fire. Staff were very friendly and attentive , and meals were brought out promptly. I had the chicken schnitzel and it was big and thick ! Served with chips as standard. My only complaint would be that I ordered sales as an extra side at $2 and it was a very small serving. Sticky date pudding was delicious ! Meal prices were very reasonable, surprisingly good value. Definitely worth a reservation and we will be back

Cobb loaf was less than ordinary, seemed like it had been sitting in an oven for a while, or reheated in a microwave. Mains were good, but we almost didn't stay because of the starter.

Greeted warmly, taken to table, provided drink menu and food menu and covid registration. After registering, we decided on a drink from the drink menu, we were approach by a different waiter and asked for our food order first, we explained we had not decided on food as was not told this needed to be ordered before drinks. Feeling rushed we ordered food from a limited menu, which we understand from covid but was not told or aware that only a limited menu was available. Another different waiter took our food order, with a different waiter delivering our drinks . Some one different again delivered our meals, my husband asked for sauce for his chips. I ordered pesto gnocchi, sauce was boring and thick lacking pesto . We tried for the duration of the meal to try and get someone’s attention to locate the missing sauce to no avail. Was not approached again until we paid for meal at the exit door. Too many different people serving with no one keeping check of table. Meals are reasonably in terms of price but I can get better at home.

My favourite hotel for a meal, great service & food.

We have been dining out at this hotel for the last 40 years. The food is always excellent, the atmosphere and service great. We would very much recommend anyone to eat there.
