Cafe63 - Ross Evans Garden Centre

Venue and food great but wait staff need training. Lack of knowledge, 30-40min wait for order to be taken, then same to have plates removed after eating. Staff were friendly and happy but only 3 working lunchtime on Australia Day. Management need to take notice.

Great reasonably priced breakfast in very nice surrounding. Suggest teach staff not to reach across in front of their guests when serving, basic hospitality! i.e. serve each person individually. That's the only negative.

Ambience and food are still great. Service is sadly poor which spoils the outing. Next time we'll order before we sit down. They seem to forget all about seated customers.

The atmosphere within the Nursery is always peaceful. The menu offers a great selection for even the fussiest diner. It is our local favourite destination for breakfast.

great open and cool area, a little slow table wait area however meals were delivered quickly once orders were taken, meal quality excellent, option on small or large serving's well worth a visit and we will return.

Great food, very slow approach for ordering by wait staff. Had to actually signal to a staff member a few times before catching anyone’s eye

A really lovely atmosphere in a garden setting. Good choice and range of food on menu. and the meals were nicely presented. We will come again.

Food was great- reasonable prices and generous serves. It was very fresh and tasty. Coffee was also great and our waitress was very friendly and efficient. Would definitely go back.

Lots of choice on the menus something for everyone. Service was good so is the food but we did have a bit of a wait for it

One point deducted because we had to ask for someone to take our order and when our drinks arrived they were all placed on the table without asking who ordered which drink.

Good food at reasonable prices. Birds can sometimes be a pest but when you eat in a garden atmosphere you need to expect some feathered friends!

Lovely quasi outdoor location. Huge menu and very moderate prices. We were a group of 8 and it was managed well. All meals were enjoyed. Especially liked that we could pay individually.

Had a group pf 16. Two tables in an area by ourselves - great. Wide menu, range of prices, able to BYO. Staff attentive. Didn't have to wait long for meals. Staff did not hurry us out. Always pleasant & good breeze. Good sized meals & like that you can order 1/2 meals for small eaters. Been many times & a good place to meet for family or friends.

Café was extremely busy yesterday, staff run off their feet. Thought more wait staff would have been hired for this time of year. Food not up to scratch.

Food was great, servers very friendly, service prompt, we highly recommend this restaurant. We may make this our weekly breakfast haunt..... Also you can’t beat the atmosphere

The food was great, beautiful presentation and great prices and portions Surrounded buy beautiful plants and water features I would have no problem recommend this restaurant for lunch or breakfast Staff are very pleasant

Service was very slow. We had to actually summons a waitress to take our order. One of my pikelets actually had a long black hair cooked into it. Won't be returning there any time soon.

food was varied and tasty. bYO a benefit. We had trouble catching the eye of wait staff to get coffees at end of meal. Feel when they cleared plates they should have asked if anyone would like coffee. A small point, but important. Small biscuit with coffee a nice touch.

The staff were courteous and there was an acceptable wait time for meals. The area is open and airy, ideal for summer dining with friends.

Absolutely beautiful meal every time. Thank you. It was so busy but our meals came to us at a reasonable waiting time. The service was fantastic too.

We love the venue and setting, but unfortunately the service was appalling. There were 10 for lunch, and not once did a waiter actually approach us. We had to find someone to order wine, then again to order meals, then again to clear the table, then again to order coffee. It was ridiculous. While the food is of good quality it really spoiled my bringing friends together for a nice experience.

Beautiful setting, lovely garden centre, awesome cafe, meals are great, loads to choose from.. great place to come and meet friends or family for coffee, breakfast or lunch. Will definately be back 😃

We were seated very promptly. Huge range of meals. Meals and drinks are very large, average quality but served in a great atmosphere with fantastic service

Could not believe that on such a hot humid day, that the fan was broken above table. So many people had sweat pouring off them. We asked to move tables and was lucky to get another one. Surely someone checks these things?

What a nice place and walking through a garden centre is fantastic, café has great Selection ,great food, really nice setting , staff were all fabulous and they were so busy.

Very popular and very full, so service was a bit slow; but food was excellent and value for money with the added bonus of cute names for each item on the menu.

Food was excellent and well presented. Staff great. Obviously well trained big problem getting through kn the telephone but got through immediately on my 3rd try will certainly recommend this venue to friends

We have been to Cafe63 many times and have been very happy. Yesterday the service was good but we had to wait in a very long line to pay our bill, as they only had one register trying to handle everyone paying, this was very bad as the cafe was full and it was very unfair on one girl trying to handle payment with only one till. SERVICE GOOD ( A LITTLE SLOW TO START WITH DRINKS) NO ADVICE ON WEB SITE RE BYO AND SPOKE TO 1300 NUMBER WHO PROMISED A CALL BACK FROM THE RESTAURANT ... DIDN'T HAPPEN. MENU EXTENSIVE AND ADEQUATE .. GOOD VALUE LOCATION AND ATMOSPHERE EXCELLENT

The food was delicious, however the service was extremely poor! Slow to serve had to be called over, did not come back to see if all was okay or if we wanted more drinks, we would have ordered another round of drinks, spending more money! No cutlery was set on the table and meals were brought out without cutlery, the waitress grabbed a handful of cutlery and napkins and dumped them in the middle of the table and left. When serving drinks the waitress spilled one of the drinks narrowly missing going down the neck of my colleague and when clearing the plates dropped the contents of a plate narrowly missing the lap of the same colleague! Had to call the waitress again to order coffees.

Great selection of food, pleasant, friendly staff, very reasonable prices. A winner! Well worth a visit to the attractive garden setting. Ample parking and no hassles.

The cafe is not what it usd to be. Before the "makeover" it was very classy. The meals were very special and service great. Now it is like a cheap cafe, artificial grass on floors, plastic tablecloths, warm wine, , no more home made cakes displayed beautifully in the glass cabinet and no magic. The entrance is very untidy too and looks like a market. Overall I am extremely disappointed in the takeover and do not have lunch there anymore with my friends who feel the same way.

The food was amazing as usual, service was a little slow with cleaning the table when we were finished, this could of been because they were busy. The girls at checkout and flower selling were friendly and helpful. I would suggest a Senior menu as both of my parents left half their meals as they were full. The staff could also check if more coffees or juices were needed throughout the meal. Overall a great Birthday breakfast and we will definitely be back.

Very nice table but poor service. Had to ask for wine glasses,waitress said she was busy serving another table. Had to ask for table to be cleared. Staff need better training

Food was ok! I wanted extra mayonnaise which they were going to charge me for! Poor service! There is such a thing as PR!! Not sure if I would go back!

Very pleasant for a catch-up lunch with friends and off street parking is a great bonus. Fish & chips with a salad was light and tasty. As a suggestion, an extra cocktail napkin would be appreciated to catch drips which accumulate on the plastic tablecloths.

Great service super fresh food love the ambience staff friendly and our monthly girls luncheon was a hit with all keep up the great level of choice and price.

A welcoming and happy place. The meals were delicious with gracious & attentive service. The prices are very reasonable and we will surely be going back.

We ordered a cup of tea but it came with no teabag and my friend was just handed the teabag to put in the pot herself.

This was our 4th time to Cafe 63. Unfortunately we didn't receive the great service we had on the other 3 occasions. Food was great but the service was very poor. I had to actually go over to the counter to ask for someone to come to our table. At no stage did the table get cleared of plates, bottles and glasses. Very disappointing as we were there to celebrate my husband's birthday.

Lovely atmosphere, huge meno and good food. Consistently good and one of my go to places for a lovely long breakfast. You won't be disappointed.

Cafe63 handled our large group of 15 well. All meals were served in a timely manner. The hardest thing was to choose which meal to have from the extensive menu. Thank you once again. 6th time.

I have been coming to Cafe 73 for more than a year now and always find the food excellent and the staff very friendly and efficient.

Disappointed with the salt and pepper calamari. Really looking forward to fresh, lightly Salt & Peppered. Instead deep fried, dry, worse than kids chicken nuggets

All was good and it just took a while for someone to take the order and it was a busy day so I believe that the staff were doing their best. Overall the meals were great as usual. Keep up the good work.

We were well looked after. The food was good. We only had coffee first and had a meeting followed by food. We didn't feel rushed at all.
