The food in the main was lovely though it didn’t all come out together. We were just a bit disappointed not to be on one long table..

slow service and steak more medium than medium rare. I have had better at other cafe 63's. On the plus side they offered the childrens menu for our 90 + year old guests which was all they could eat.

Café 63 is very enjoyable café to meet friends at. The food and coffee are both very good. The staff are efficient and friendly. I can rarely resist the cut flowers or a wander through the garden centre.

Pleasant setting for lunch, our table was ready when we arrived. The coffee was delicious and our guests enjoyed the experience. One comment made was the tables were not packed together to provide a more relaxed setting.

Food consistently good and surroundings delightful, however this is now the fourth time we’ve eaten there and the service is consistently non existent. From when you enter, the staff point in the direction of your table, to having to ask for the plates to be cleared between courses, and the waiter getting annoyed you asked. Staff are very good at walking past a table and ignoring you. It’s a pity for what could be a fantastic experience.

I recently organised a birthday luncheon for four of my close friends knowing that the food and the service is very good at Cafe63. I am a frequent customer, who regularly has breakfast in your restaurant. The atmosphere was great, as was the service, as well as the food. Everything was enjoyed by all of us. Another bonus, in the event that one may be attending a birthday, or just a "get to gether" with people I haven't seen for some time, there are lots of gift items, to purchase should the need be required. Beautiful location, fantastic value for money and such a wide range on the menu whether you go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Wish i'd visited sooner.

Lunch was excellent. Our only problem was the drop down blind in the area where we were seated was broken and therefore it was very windy which was a problem for some of our party.

My husband ordered $15 lambs fry and bacon dish which he had previously enjoyed. There were a couple of rashes of bacon, 3 small pieces of lambs fry and 2 slices of warm bread. He was disappointed and vows not to return. He tried to complain to the waiter who walked away and didn't come back and appeared not to understand. It's disappointing for the other six of us who were quite happy and liked the setting but as a group we won't be back.

Our regular haunt for large family breakfasts. The menu offers a wide range of choice. Add to that very friendly staff and everyone leaves happy.

our brekky there every sunday is always fantastic. the staff are very good especially Sam, he always goes out of his way to make us feel comfortable.

Lovely atmosphere, with friendly staff. Food was excellent and all meals were served quite quickly. There is a good selection of meals available and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will go again.

Great location for an enjoyable lunch. The food was very nice as was the coffee. I enjoyed a Chai Latte which was a perfect accomplishment to my pasta dish.

Not up to the usual standard in food or service. One guest didn’t recieve his meal until the others were nearly finished. We had to ask for plates to be cleared. Overall - quite unsatisfactory

Did not get a return phone call when I called to book. Garlic bread came out with meal, no option of having it before. Meals did not come together, in fact one person waited at least 5 minutes after everyone else had started theirs. Food and prices good.

The atmosphere, the service and the food was positively ,genuinely first class. The staff provided service which allowed four of us to enjoy our friendship.

Great food, great value, accommodating staff and beautiful environment in the Ross Evans nursery. I will definitely be back again soon for another lovely meal!

We had the fish and chips as it did not come with salad we ordered a large salad to share. Unfortunately we had only been given the specials menu not the ful menu until it was time to order sweets. The fish was beautiful the chips were yummy but need not have had so many. I was dissapointed in the salad it was not qite enough to share between three, I would have preferred a fresh garden salad. For sweets I just had the pikelets, it was good to b e able to have a half serve.It was good to be able to have something light with my cogfee. Pat had the icecream with strawberries and she said they were lovely. All in all a very enjoyable day. Lovely setting. Shameit was a hot day. Good to be able to browse arond the nursery.

Great location in a garden nursery and meals are excellent. We were there for lunch but I actually had a breakfast which was way too big for me.

We had an excellent breakfast at cafe 63, the food is cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. All staff are friendly and on the ball. A great place for a family get together.

BEAUTIFUL garden surroundings which made for a lovely atmosphere! I had scones which were very average tasting but the other meal, chicken wrap was yum. More interaction between staff & customer would be good.

Cafe63 is great. Food is good, staff are friendly and efficient and the ambience is just wonderful. Our latest visit was on a very hot day and the breezes coming thru across the gardens overcame the excessive heat. It was a delight.

Service and food not up to the great standards you set when you first opened. We have been frequent visitors to this cafe for years, when it was called Waterside Cafe, and since it became Cafe 63. Yesterday the 15th February we came for lunch and this is the first time we have been disappointed. The Roger Bannister was fine. However the prawn salad was so dry as to be unappetising and wasn’t eaten. The fish and chips with calamari was ok but the chips were soft and almost cold. Nowhere near your usual standard. We ordered drinks but the wait for them to arrive entailed a call to the waiter, who seemed to be wandering around aimlessly, to ascertain if, in fact, he had remembered the order. Very disappointing given your usual high standard of food and service. We didn’t say anything to the wait staff as we got the impression that they were totally unenthusiastic about their job. Unfortunately I left my reading glasses on the table, not realising this until I got home. I contacted your central number and spoke to a lady who told me she would send a message to the Cafe and someone from the Cafe would get back to me. I heard nothing so sent an email to Cafe 63, still no word back. I then made two further phone calls to your central number and more promises were made that I would be notified if my spectacles had been found. By 9:00am this morning my husband decided we would take the 1/2 hour drive to the cafe on the off chance that my specs had been found. Fortunately they were handed in and I was pleased to get them. Disappointed that no one had let us know they had been found.

The day was very hot and the fans were not quite adequate. The staff were very nice. The fish was well cooked. I personally don't like the mixed salad that is used every where and there was too much of it. I had dessert and that was very nice. The coffee cup was a bit hard to handle for my older friend. The coffee was good . I have been in the restaurant business a long time ago. We do like to go to Ross Evans. Anita

Very enjoyable experience. Open air relaxed atmosphere. Service helpful. Not rushed. Many food choices. All meal/drink selections enjoyed. Would recommend to others and look forward to return visits.

Everyone enjoyed their meal but the comment was passed that the service could have been better, the table cleared quicker and coffee orders taken sooner.

Great food & service friendly staff nothing is too much trouble plus we are able to take our poodle. Also lots to see in the Garden area.

It is an extremely busy cafè on Sunday morning however the staff did very well. Food good and atmosphere great. We had a very large table and food was served to all in a timely manner.

Our breakfasts and coffee were very good. The service was obliging, but simply overwhelmed and slow, due to the number of guests. Just need more hands on deck.

Food was OK but too much salad leaves. I like salad but there was way too much. Service could have been better after we were given the menu it took a long time before our order was taken. In the end we had to ask for the order to be taken. When I went to pay the staff were unable to get the eftpos machine working as it had run out of paper. I wasnt able to get a printed receipt and I like to have one to check my credit card statement each month.

Yes cafe 63 is always a good experience, very good value, an extensive menu, something for everyone, good coffee, which always arrives just how you order it. Staff are friendly and helpful with the menu and they don't mind changing things around for you, chicken instead of prawns etc. It's very pleasant too, walking through the nursery to reach the cafe, seeing all the lovely plants on sale. There are fresh flowers on sale, also newspapers to read or purchase. I highly recommend Cafe 63.

The food was not too bad but the service was terrible no one came to our table to see if we would like dessert or coffee or a drink. My plate was still in front of me when we left.
