Very efficient and friendly staff. Breakfast OK but toast was underdone (more like warm bread). Otherwise very good

Great food could of turned music down a touch. Few craft beers would if been nice / big shed mismatch maybe but had a great night cheets

A lovely cool spot on a very hot summer's day. The staff were excellent and we appreciated being able to split our bill with no fuss at all.

The mixed grill was delicious and great value for money. Gotta try the lemon curd cheesecake - it was amazing!

Ordered pasta, bland taste. Our order was mixed up. 4 times I approached the counter for things that should have been given or offered. Staff were very friendly & accommodating.

It was fine. I found the pasta I had with Italian sausage and olives in a tomato sauce rather bland. Staff were not overly welcoming. Probably wouldn’t bother returning.

Group of five dined for lunch and were completely happy with food, wine & other drinks ordered. Ambience buzzing and comfortable.

great stop for a meal on the way to festival theatre, a little noisey but the weather was cold so outside seating wasn't an option today where it would have been a bit quieter but loved the food.

Steak & double cooked pork were quite tough. Vanilla slices were cold and had too much tough pastry. Disappointing that food was below average.

Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way for us. One staff member who was waiting tables was not so impressive. This person did mention a couple of times to us that she was new, but she wasn't very attentive and I didn't see her smile once. She also couldn't answer any of our questions (which were very straight forward). Of course, if she was new, she may not know, and this is absolutely fine, but she also made no attempt to go and find out for us. This meant we had to line up at the ordering desk to get our questions answered. In the middle of dinner, we wanted to order a second bottle of wine, and asked her if we could order one through her and add it to our tab, but she said no, we had to go line up again. Luckily, as I was lining up again with my empty bottle, another staff member, who was also waiting tables, came up to me and asked if I wanted another bottle and said she could get one for us an put it on our tab so I didn't need to line up. Not sure why the new person couldn't do this for us (she wasn't under 18).

We waited quite a while for food which was strange as they weren’t very busy when we were there. But the food was so good and the staff are very pleasant. Will definitely return.

The food was quite nice, but mine didn't come with the mashed potatoes as per the menu (the reason I ordered it), it came with new potatoes instead. The sauce was too rich and salty, especially as there was no mash to soak it up. The menu has lots of choices. Quite well priced.
