Brotzeit - Perth CBD

Good food, but pork knuckle was quite dry. Have had it before and this one was not as good. Otherwise everything was nice, and service was good.

Food was good but the service was poor. Did not see a waiter for an hour after we got our food. Filled in the how was our service form but have to give this to the waiter who probably put it in the bin

Really good food, nice environment and easily accessible from Perth Underground. Went for brother birthday for lunch, wasn't packed full and could hear easily. Will come again

Great food, great service, fast. One thing I would change, whilst the planks look good, unfortunately they make eating the schnitzel a little tricky when it overhangs the plank.

Food is always fantastic. However.... the service leaves a lot to be desired. I appreciate it is a busy restaurant, however the staff are at times borderline rude. It takes a ridiculous amount of time to receive drinks after ordering, so much so we were ordering our next drinks when the first were delivered!! We also on this occasion had to wait a ridiculous amount of time for cutlery after receiving our meals, which when yo have been seated outside on a cold evening is less than acceptable.

Great service, delicious food and fantastic value for money! I would 100% recommend. Especially the platter - there were 5 adults and with a beer at lunch time it was just over $25! Brilliant

We went to Brotzeit 140 to celebrate my son's 18 birthday as a family. The four of us shared the supreme platter and it was absolutely amazing! Every item on the platter was delicious and the servings were so generous that we had a hard time finishing it. The table service was excellent and we couldn't fault it. The whole experience was exactly what I had hoped it would be and we left the restaurant happy and very satisfied. Well done!

Great little rest, great service. Located at One William Sq, it is very convenient to get to. Would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere different to have lunch when in the city.

The service was friendly but a bit slow. Especially for drinks. We ordered the pork knuckle which was large enough for two but it was dry and over cooked. It is meant to fall off the bone but you had to hack into it with a knife chew the meat till your draw ached. We have had this german dish in so many places in Europe and Aust. And this was definitely over cooked and was the most expensive out of all the places we have had it. Disappointing really. And very expensive drinks

Good, solid, fresh food and a lively atmosphere. The Supreme Platter and some freshly poured beers make for a great start to a Friday afternoon. Perfect for the meat lover in all of us!

Pleasant and very speedy service. Great food for a cold night - especially the sausage platter!! The only gripe is the price of the drinks - it will unfortunately be always tap water for me at that price.....

3 of us enjoyed the visit and meals except 1 was very upset with the sausages stating not completely cooked and tasteless. The staff were very helpful and had the meal replaced but it was presented exactly the same. We will return but not choose sausages

Meals is good. I give you a 5. Is because we asked how many pieces wings in a set. They said 6 pieces. But come out only 5 pieces.

Great German food in a light bright space. Well worth it for the Pork Knuckle. A huge meal that would easily feed two. And don't forget the German beer!!

Place is very nice n clear. Friendly n helpful n happy 😊 lady who look after us all night.. Meal was loving n all my family enjoy it so much, will be back n tell my friends n family to go eat.. Food was great, service was average... We arrived and we wanted to try the beers and even when the restaurant was empty and we were a big table the girl insisted that we needed to pay a tasting service when we asked to try a third beer (the tasting cups are like 5 ml and we tried just 2). Girls weren't friendly and they kept forgetting what we asked.

Good service, food and atmosphere. Service slightly slow, but nothing too bad. Some German music may be good, and maybe a couple of German speaking waiters.

This is the second time I have booked a work function at Brotzeit 140 and as always the staff are very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and comes out so quick, we ordered two Supreme platters for 9 people and there was more than enough food for all and the price is great. Highly recommend Brotzeit 140.

Mains great. Desert not so great. Service above average. Outside during winter need heater. 5 in a booth was to crowded. German beer makes things better.

Modern German fare. Good serving portions, fast efficient service. The wurst on our platter were not really to our liking but everything else was delicious. We had to ask twice for water for the table and for serving spoons for the sharing platter. I thought that they could have made a little more effort for Mothers Day, maybe some flowers on the table or a flower or a chocolate for each Mum.

Met by a very pleasant young lady and escorted to our table. We were looked after from then on.After the delivery of our meals , staff checked to see if all was OK which it was. Great night

Good atmosphere in the heart of the city. Food came out quite prompt after drinks served. Staff members were helpful! Would recommend the supreme platter- was quite large so would share with at least 4 people!

The environment is good and the company I was with made it great. However, the service was somewhat below average with incorrect meals being brought out (a chicken salad instead of a tuna salad, a cold smoked sausage instead of a hot garlic pork one), although they were corrected as soon as we complained, and some of the food itself was cold or lukewarm. Service also took a long time - we waited ages for desserts to be brought out. Ultimately, the food was tasty but was as expected and the service wasn't great. Not sure if we'll be back.

Delicious food, good service. Music however too loud to have a conversation without raising your voice, more a club ambiance. Being German i wouldn't have minded some German pop or slow music which is not too full on. Some dishes on the new menu have a twist however I personally prefer the proper traditional German cuisine, that's what I come for. Great German beer selection i must mention.

Brotzeit claims to be traditional German food but as a German I must tell you it is far from it. The sausages have little taste and the traditional sauerkraut and red cabbage is tasteless. Won't be our restaurant of choice unfortunately.

Good service. Good selection of German beers. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals and serving size was generous. Would definitely return to brotzeit to try other options on menu.

Really great restaurant, giant portion though. But honestly, the ribs tasted a little bit weird to me. Spiced potato wedge was perfect, very nice! Recommend!

Love the place as always. Always get very looked after by the service staff, food is absolutely fabulous. Glad we booked, that is definitely a must in this wonderful popular venue.
