Visited on a busy Friday night. They had heaters outside to keep us warm. We noticed they had changed their menu which included alot of lighter options like salad, sandwiches and pastas that weren't so meat heavy. I tried the potato dumplings with mushroom ragout and thoroughly enjoyed it. My friend had the pork belly and pork sausage combo and he raved about the quality of the pork sausages used. We also tried the Rueben which was a good size and came with chips for $21
We had a platter for 3, was enough food for 4 or 5, the food was lovely, in particular the Pork Knuckle with crackling and the chicken Schnitzel, for desert we had Black Forrest cake and Apple Strudel with ice cream, which was very nice as well, would go again and recommend to others, good service, thanks
Great service and awesome food. I bought way too much but because it was so tasty and was pleasantly surprised when i was allowed to have a doggy bag.
Great service with friendly staff and best of all, great pork! Beers on offer were good German types and I had a very nice Pilsner. Finished our meal with a nice black forest.
Had the supreme sharing plate for 3 - it was amazing. Meat was cooked to perfection. Black Forest cake was wonderful, definitely the highlight of our meal.
It's ok but very expensive for what you get. Small serves, over cooked fries, nice sauce. Do not order the onion rings. Not many, no flavour and cost $7.00.
Our service was great! Staff were lovely and accommodating, happy to explain to our fellow diners about some of the dishes they were unsure about. Food was delicious too!
Lunch from the quick and light menu was substantial and good value german fare. Kids eating free in holidays a major bonus of course. They have the best beer!
Good food and good service. Always leave there with a full belly and our waitress was very easy-going and friendly. A tad more expensive than our last visit, but still quality dining.
Would have been a 6 but because we could not split the bill less than in half,( there were 3 of us ), has to be a 5. Excuse given was that the bank machine could only do two transactions then shuts down for half an hour. Seemed a bit crazy when the first card was declined then processed two more cards, but hang on we can only do two transactions. You need to let people pay the bill how they like, so long as it gets paid. Must say the food was incredible and wait staff were magic.
Food came out very quickly and was delicious. Every team member was friendly and accomodating. Whatever the sauce is on the chicken wings it's yum!
We went there for a celebration. The food provided was Pretty standard food. Not bad, but not overly outstanding either. Ok to have a good time.
I’ve been to the baldivis one, thats much better food & service. Same menu, just better cook I guess? I still rate the Perth one high but baldivis 10/10 for sure
Lovely German Restaurant with delicious food, great choice of German Beers and friendly service. A friend and I caught up for a long overdue get together today. We took advantage of the HAPPY HOUR SPECIAL after our delightful waitress pointed out we could still order from this upon our arrival. I had the House Red which proved to be a good choice. Also ordered from $15.00 Menu. I had the battered fish, delicious. We will definately return.
Very quick and friendly service and yummy food!! Definitely coming back! Great location too and comfy seats had a lovely afternoon out with great friends thank you!
The food is fantastic and unforgettable! I will be there again if I have time from my lab. Looking forward to seek surprise in the future.
We went on a very busy Friday night. Our table was ready. Staff very attentive and efficient. Service was prompt and the food was delicious!. The only negative we found was the bench seats a bit squishy for 6 adults. O therwise very happy :)
Great service and great food. It took a bit of time to get our beer as it was the last minutes of happy hour but waiters came our table on the right times.
Brotzeig is certainly a restaurant we will recommend to friends and family. We enjoyed our meal cooked to perfection. Many thanks for a great experience.
Menu is not bad, definitely go here if you like meat. Vegetarian options are limited (1 dish and some sides) Fair enough it is German. Beers are ok, not the best German Beers but definitely a good selection of some Real German Beers. Drinks prices are good (12$ 500ml beers). prices are somewhat high considering its just basic german meat dishes. Staff are friendly. Butter Spatzel was average, boring, flavorless and needed salt and pepper. Real Spatzel has cheese, more flavor, larger pieces, and usually some herbs or extra flavorings.
The vibe & atmosphere of the restaurant was awesome. Service was fantastic & food was cooked well & very tasty. Would recommend this place 👍
Delicious food. The pork cutlet was sensational. Family friendly as our son was able to run around in a play area outside the restaurant but in clear view of our table. Looking forward to the next visit
Brotzeit 140 has a nice location and staff are very friendly. The meats that we ordered on the large platter were nice in flavour but some of them were too tough to eat. This was disappointing because the restaurant is largely about the meat. Sausages were nice and cooked well, but we can cook sausages at home nicely; the other meats like beef and pork ribs and pork knuckle were partly not nicely cooked. The pork crackle skin was a bit chewy and one of the serves of beef rib was so tough none of us could eat it.
Great location and pretty good service but food average. Beer was great though !! Would probably try other restaurants in Perth since there is now so much choice.
Foods and drinks were so nice as we expected. Staff took care of us anytime very kindly manner so that we could enjoy meals and conversations.
Great big portion of meal, also love the atmosphere that just chill & relax!
We went on a busy night so I’m glad we booked a table. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice too, however was a tad loud when the whole restaurant is busy. The overall meals were nice, however I found the ribs a tad sweet
What a great place to eat, amazing food and service. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend. Great value, great venue and well located
Great restaurant, friendly staff and tasty food. Not to mention the beer which was recommended! We went there pre show and were not disappointed. Thanks!
Good food and service, ok ambiance, cool prices.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Booking at 6pm got there 6:05pm waited 10mins to be served, ordered drinks entrée & mains. Waiting 10-15mins before drinks were served then over 1hr before entrée came out. We asked a couple of times then mains but we already said we were on a time line. Had to send mains back no time to eat but at same time 2 couples on either side of us arrived at least 30mins or more after us were served mains. They were busy & not expected and would like to try it again but was very disappointed.
We are a group of 8 ladies that lunch together.. All the ladies love it and have requested a repeat visit. Amazing staff. Very clean restaurant.
Nice atmosphere. Good food. Nice hang out place. Would go again at some point for a group meal. Staff were good if a little quiet.
I always enjoy some good German fare, when dining. Plus enjoying a good German beer. Brotzeit provides them both! I am never disappointed when I go here.
Great service and the food came out quick as we had a show to catch. We both had the chicken schnitzel, look forward to coming back again.
Food was good but service was very slow and there was some loud event happening right outside the restaurant which made it difficult to hear what my partner was saying, or the waitress for that matter
Food was good but the desert menu drinks were overpriced. Four deserts to choose from but $14.00 for a piece of cake is a bit much.
Excellent service, and the food as always was cooked to perfection. For value for money and a great meal we can not recommend Brotzeit highly enough 😊
Great German beer on tap, the food was pretty good, however the service could improve and the prices are a bit on the high side.
Our family had lunch there, Food were well prepared and cooked, the serving was very quick. excelletn services, fully enjoyed the time with my family.
Food was good and came out very fast after we ordered. We will definitely go back and will recommend to our friends to enjoy the food there.
Somewhat disappointing as the food was certainly not up to my expectations. Would have preferred the sauce to be served on the side instead of drenched all over the main that I had.
Our first experience at this restaurant. Fast service and friendly staff. Exceptional food and large meal sizes. Family friendly and good value kids meals. We will definitely be back!
The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the menu was superb, as was the food. Overall, a very good experience. The decor is great.
Service was not good. When they brought our mesls out, sauce dripped all over a handbag. The waitress was oblivious so we didn't get an apology and had to ask for a wet cloth to clean it. Also, the potatoe salad was bland. Opt for the potato mash- its much tastier.
This is the place for a truly wonderful German food experience. It's a lovely setting and the staff are extremely polite and attentive. Great choices of beers too. Would definitely recommend this place.
$20 schnitzel is good value for money. Venue is nice and quiet. Service was good. Half price beer from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm is great
Booking was for 6.30pm on a Sunday night. When we were seated we were told that no sandwiches were available because they had run out of bread and it was too late to get any more. That wiped out a good portion of the menu options. Was very disappointed as my guests and I were looking forward to trying their popular German sandwiches. We went on the night of the new Optus stadium open day, obviously a very busy day for restaurants and bars in the city. The waitress said they ran out of ingredients because they just got so busy during the day and they have no idea why. Staff were oblivious to what events were going on in their location, despite signs, advertising, and people everywhere etc. Food we did have was very good, oblivious and non-apologetic staff were a let down.
Really great service at the start, then when our food came out no one came up to us for at least 20 minutes. We had to flag down someone just to get the bill. Food was nice but definitely overpriced. $40 for a sausage platter that was literally just 6 sausages and some sauerkraut?
Good food, service very friendly and efficient. Popular place for lunch.
