Plates were generous, variety of food memorable, service faultless! Thanks! Ambience, seating, decor, all very pleasant! We took our interstate friends to lunch prior to visiting the Roche museum!

Beautiful place, fantastic service and great food. A wonderful time spent relaxing and catching up with friends. I am definitely looking forward to coming back in the near future

Great atmosphere lovely staff. Service bringing meals was a tad slow and kids meals came out last but it was Easter Saturday so was quite busy. Cheeseburger came out without cheese but staff quick to fix it. Overall food was delicious ans enjoyed our lunch!

Service was good and a few issues addressed immediately staff very helpful . Lovely garden setting with bar out the front and option to pay and gp for drinks

Very helpful, professional and friendly staff. The food was amazing and the ambience fantastic. the hotel is beautifully decked out and there is plenty of room in that you are not all sitting on top of each other.

Very disappointed. We used to go there very often prior to the new owners taking over, but that will no longer be the case. Service was terrible, and it wasn't busy. Had to ask whether bread was still being provided after having waited at that stage just over 30 minutes. Main meal wait was nearly an hour. I requested a medium steak, and my steak was over cooked and dry.

A great night with friends. Could not fault the steak meals that we all had. Staff very friendly & attentive. Would definitely return. The only negative was that with the very extensive wine list, our first choices, both red & white were not available.

Great customer service, beautiful surroundings and an enjoyable evening with friends. The food was great with enjoyable share entrees and crispy vegetables with our parmys and steaks.

Staff were friendly and sufficient, food was excellent, the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Real green plants (not plastic!) are everywhere. I can't find anything negative. I'll be there again.

We had a lovely day on Saturday, and the staff were efficient and gracious. I especially appreciated being able to order soup, not on the menu, because I could not cope with solid food at that time . We will be returning, with pleasure.

Amazing spot. Walked there from the city along the river, pretty and it's not far. Took hubby there for a small family dinner. Food is fantastic, staff are all lovely. The dining area is so pleasant, makes you feel all comfortable and happy. The wine list is HUGE, with more than one that can be bought by the glass. So many places only offer 2 or 3 options. We will definitely make the British one of our favourite places to go - often.

Wonderful as always. Great food and atmosphere for a large group of friends and colleagues. Our favourite place to dine and relax in Adelaide. Looking forward to seeing new treats on your vegetarian menu!

we received friendly, unpretentious service, the food was good, well presented and in good quantity. Although a little noisy, we appreciated the pleasant surroundings and extra consideration because we were celebrating a birthday

We had a We had a lovely meal which was produced at the table very promptly. The menu choices were good and varied and the service was excellent. The only thing missing was the availability of coffee, but as it was a pleasant night, we walked around to Melbourne Street.

Very nice meal, most staff attentive, but not intrusive. The barman was remiss with serving customers in order of presentation to the bar being the only issue.

My Barramundi was dry and awful and I was unable to eat it. Four other people at the table had steak which they enjoyed the sixth person had pasta which was ordinary.

I love the British my favourite pub always good food and service. Great steaks especially the rib eye with the red wine ju its the bomb

Generally okay but tap beers are very expensive + $12 for a pint of Peroni and the steak didn't come with veg or salad. I appreciate many restaurants have these as extras but I don't think this should apply to pubs

Fabulous hotel , great dining area in a lovely location. Easy access and parking just out of the city. Many wine choices and a varied menu. Meals were made with quality ingredients. Helpful staff.

Belly pork with the salad was a delicious combination. The chocolate creme brûlée although more of a heavy mousse than a brulee, was delicious all the same. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Food Variety was Good with the Food Ordered Excellent, Very Friendly Staff and with Great Service. Would definitely go there again and also recommend "The British Hotel."

Nice atmosphere; attentive staff who understood gluten free requirements; a well balanced menu and great wine list. An institution in North Adelaide worth the visit.

the menu was diverse, the food was well prepared and the service was excellent. the wine list could be extended to include more quality Shiraz

Location, service and quality of food was really good, except one meal (steak) was a bit chewy and a couple of the cocktails were a bit weak in strength.

Great food, lovely atmosphere but due to being busy the service was slow and no table service. Definitely recommend it to others and for groups.

Everything was awesome The food and service was first class Had a great night A staff member opened a couple of wi ndow shutters to improve the airflow and our comfort level. Staff very chatty and helpful.
