Botticelli Ristorante & Bar

The food was yummy, service quite good. Although it was a Monday night, there was a moderate crowd and everyone seemed to be having a good time. We had a great evening!

Three courses were great. The ravioli was thick and rubbery. It went back to the kitchen and returned fractionally better. A good Italian restaurant should not serve pasta of that quality. Better to remove it from the menu if it’s not up to scratch.

Unexpected good surprise; we were pleased in every sense. Excellent service and very friendly staff. Nice place and pleasant atmosphere. Very good menu, high quality of presentation and taste; we did enjoy it. We certainly are going back there again.

Botticelli's is consistently great. The menu is full of choice, the daily pasta deals are terrific value and the service is always attentive and friendly. Whether we order from the specials board, the pasta deals or a la carte, we are sure to get a beautifully cooked and presented meal.

Nice restaurant with good decor and ambiance. We sat outside, which was pleasant although chairs were a bit tatty. Service good. Food average...too much oil on the brushetta. Nothing special about seafood.

Excellent food as always with beautiful wine. We tried both of the Italian reds and both were lovely. The carbonara is the best you'll get anywhere in Melbourne. Service was great.

Over priced, poor quality of ingredients and meals were not cooked as per the description on the menu. Paid $19 for 2 tiny pieces of bruschetta, the bread was stale and there was only 1 cherry tomato cut in half. I ordered the pasta marinara for main with oil and garlic. The seafood was over cooked and rubbery and there was about 2cm of butter on the bottom of my plate. I sent it back. My husband ordered the duck ravioli with sage and red wine sauce. No flavour whatsoever of duck, again the sauce was completely different to what was on the menu, no sage or wine, just lots of cream. I had been to this restaurant a year ago and it was brilliant, has definitely been sold or the chef has left.

We found right from the start of our visit that the service was very good and the food that we ordered was perfect as we expected as we have been there before.

A lovely setting with attentive staff and delicious options. The specials were delicious especially the pasta and superb desert. It was easy to book and the table was ready.

Disapointed that there was a credit card charge ,even for a debit card!! If we had known advance would have brought cash. Pleasant atmosphere and good service from Linas, our waiter. Excellent eggplant Parmiagiana.

Beautiful venue and yummy food. Sadly there was not enough staff on and they where stressed out and rude. Also the wrong meal was brought to me and instead of an apology I was doubled questioned what I ordered and made feel bad and told it's going to take forever for the dish I ordered to be made. Put a dampener on my partner and I date night.

First visit and on NYE! The food was nice, with fast service and nice atmosphere. Will definitely return some time in the future - bon appetito

A great atmosphere on NYE. Excellent food. Service was a bit slow, but understandable, as the restaurant was full. Very handy to the local cinema, so we could stay until just time to leave for the movie. Highly recommended.

The service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly and most obliging. We had the lunch special which was very adequate and delicious. Trendy ambience. It was very noisy which made smooth conversation difficult.

After 4 people being squashed onto a table for 2 we asked to be moved to a larger table. Fingers all over lip of glass when pouring water. Food came out all seperately no offer of a discount or even an apology. Totally disappointed have been half a dozen times before but last night staff untrained and unprofessional. Wont be back

Good food, good service, good atmosphere, a great suburban restaurant that we have been to many times. Never had a bad meal there. A touch on the expensive side.

Lovely restaurant!! we had to ask for bread twice and it came with our entree. Wine was opened and poured without our tasting it first. But altogether a very pleasant experience

I had spaghetti marinara but there was broken shells in the food which grit on your teeth. Not very nice. But the service was lovely and the food tasted great.

Always a wonderful experience. Its Sharma and his attention to detail that makes it special. Have been going to Botticelli for 15 years and celebrated many a milestone there.

It was a very hot evening and the restaurant was well cooled. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The Mains didn't come out together but vere very good.

we enjoyed our dining experience at Botticelli, The waiter was attentive and the food excellent, We will certainly go there again.Being retirees we were particularly pleased that it allowed BYO which makes the night a little less expensive.

Love the food. Always consistent. Service was great and very friendly. The seafood Mariana is amazing and really generous serving sizes. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Service, food and ambience just perfect, second visit and certainly won't be my last. I booked for my mothers 90th Birthday, she loved it, we revisited last week and loved everything about Botticelli. Lyn

We had a great night. Great service and the food as always delightful. So many traditional courses we are continually encouraged to try new things and rarely are we disappointed.

Excellent food and service as usual. We have been customers for several years and Botticelli never disappoints. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys Italian food.

Service off hand and food average for the prices they charge. On top of that they charged additional 1.9% for paying by credit card. won't be back in a hurry

Fantastic food, authentic Italian and great service Main approximately $28-45, entrees around $15-25 and dessert around $13. Also offer BYO Everyone’s meal was cooked perfectly, good portions and tasted yummy

A disappointing experience with food and service below expectations. I would not recommend this restaurant to persons who would expect good quality Italian food. A very limited menu with too much emphasis on pasta and cheap ingredients.

Botticelli has great service & the food is always delicious. Car parking is relatively easy in the evenings. Also nice to have servers from different countries!

Staff were friendly, engaging and responsive. They provided excellent service and were prompt with the delivery of ordered meals. The scope and range of meals was extensive and good value for money.

In a word " disappointed" three out of six diners in our group had the roast duck only to find it was overdone, otherwise it was an enjoyable night.

I was welcomed warmly and treated like a special guest, the fettuccine carbonara was superb and White wine complemented beautifully. Will be coming back soon.

The restaurant could do with more heating in winter months. Tables were a little too close together. Service and food were both good. I recommend the sorbets.

Not the service today we did enjoy in the past, had to ask for serving our ordered drinks twice - very slow service today but food was nice.

Very good cuisine, served by friendly service in a most comfortable restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. There is a consistency about Bottecelli which makes it more than just a neighbourhood restaurant.

Botticelli has a very pleasant ambience. Its menu is extensive and the quality of the food was excellent. The staff are friendly, efficient and attentive. My guest and I had a very pleasant meal and would recommend the restaurant.

Had dinner for 4 on a Saturday night. Was very busy but the service was excellent and so was the food. Was very relaxed but not too noisy!

We had the pasta special which included pasta, bread, salad and a glass of house wine and it was great value. The linguine marinara was delicious.

Great food at very good prices and terrific service. The lunchtime special is great value with two levels, both including a glass of house wine. Attentive but not intrusive service and it doesn't matter whether you are dining at lunchtime or for dinner - the quality and value is the same.

Extensive menu. Beautiful food. Good wine selection. Great service. Not over-priced. We had a lovely Sunday lunch, and will definitely be back. A very positive experience.

We found the food and service at Botticelli excellent. The decor was lovely and the lighting was just right. I always love candles on a table - they really add to the atmosphere. The four of us had a great experience and would definitely go again.

Pasta we had was fabulous. Only down side was the chill when the front door was open to allow guests in. My legs are still thawing out!!!!⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️

The food was very good and the portions were excellent. Service was also very good. The lighting and ambiance was also very good, the down point was the lack of sound deadening. The venue is very noisy as the waiter had problems hearing us as well. The room could do with some sound absorbing material on the walls, other than that I really enjoyed the experience.
