First visit for a long time and the food and service was great.

Great location, service friendly and timely. Food is ok. Tasty, typical of this style venue. I would not say overly healthy so if that what you are after suggest elsewhere. But a solid pizza bar.

We went for pre-theatre meal and it was a great place to go. The service was outstanding - we had a very quick and tasty meal before we needed to leave. One of us had the pumpkin salad with lamb which was excellent. One had the soba salad with beef which contained a lot more beef than expected, and was a bit heavy, but very flavoursome. Our son said the chicken burger was the best he's ever tasted. It's a busy place, but we felt very comfortable and relaxed. Great view!

We were welcomed warmly, shown to a table and given menus and water. However, table service was then disappointing. After no attention for some time, had to go up to the bar to order first drinks and then wave down passing staff members whenever we wanted to order further drinks or food. No-one seemed to be assigned to our table. Menu and quality and prices of meals were very good. Bottles of wine however were rather expensive.

We had a lovely Mother’s Day lunch at Blue Train. Meals were generous, well priced and food came out quickly.

I ordered the Double Burger and it was absolutely delicious!

We ordered four complimentary drinks, but two of them were not served until we finished our meals which was quite disappointed. One of our colleagues even had to cancel her drink as she had to rush back to work.

We enjoyed our meal at Bluetrain. Lots of options, family friendly and affordable.

We made a booking so there was not wait time to get in. We waited 15 minutes to be served, and then 45 minutes for the food to arrive. 3 of the 4 dishes were very average (margherita pizza, zucchini & feta balls, chicken burger), the only success was the duck risotto. We had to get up and find a member of the service staff to enquire as to how long the food would be and was told 'coming' - half an hour later it came. We were put in an outside alcove where we had a bird relieve itself over one of our party - if you are going to put tables out there, put some sort of wire to keep the birds away.

Great atmosphere, so much flavour in food! Great views. Highly recommend.

If you want to be stung for average food this is the place

People who arrived after us were served before us. I ordered a pizza. I was expecting fresh tomato sauce on the pizza not tomato paste which was quite dry. No one attended to us once we received our meals. We didn't even get asked if we wanted dessert. When we were ready to leave I couldn't even find someone to ask for the bill. I finally flagged someone down. Not a great experience and will probably not return.

Staff friendly and efficient. Food nice. Good value for money with lunch special. We had a view. So overall we had a lovely time.

We ordered 3 mains and only got 2. Disappointing. Riesling wine was pretty ordinary.

I met up with a friend from Switzerland who hadn't visited Melbourne before and is a real foodie. She loved the food and the atmosphere and liked the different take on a meal such as gnocchi with chorizo.

Tasty, great gluten free options and very pleasant efficient service.

I asked the waitress which white wine was dry, and she was obviously struggling, I said I am happy for her to ask her colleagues, but she declined (!). She had us taste two wines, and we picked one which was fine. I think a better response would have been to ask her colleagues and have us taste two of their suggestions.

Firstly the coffe was only luke warm but I was told in no uncertain terms that it was served as always (!) at 60o. Bullcrap, sorry but that was not 60o. The second cup was better but i was told to ask for hot coffee next time! Next time? I doubt it VERY much. Meal was very average, smoked salmon was only just seen in the salad, hiding beneath heaps of cos lettuce. But the creme de la creme was when I paid the bill. The waitsperson didnt even say Thank You! Not one word or gesture of appreciation, even after a $10 tip! Plenty of other places to choose from now on.

Food was yummy our table had a combination of pizzas and burgers. Slightly disappointed that they have changed the chicken burger .... $20 pizza / burger + drink deal is pretty good. Service was friendly.

Enjoyed our visit. Staff were very professional and understanding. Very pleasant and food was okay (I thought mine was just okay but others at the table really enjoyed what they had).

Noisy on a Saturday night but good food and friendly service make it worth the visit!

Although the food was excellent, it took over an hour to come out. When we complained the excuse we got was the kitchen had received lots of orders from the same section of the menu. They did kind of make up for it by offering us free dessert which we did not take up, so instead they gave us 20% off the bill.

Brought my partner for dinner before a show at the arts centre. The staff were awesome and recommended options that would come out quicker. Only complaints are how loud it was - and the only vegan option being a pizza with the cheese taken off, that was effectively just tomato paste, pumpkin, and zucchini. Would love to see more vegan friendly options in the future, we will come back! Side note, don't order the dark and stormy cocktail - you will hear colours
