The food, service and atmosphere were all fantastic. We were a table of 4 and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I will recommend this restaurant to all of my friends.

Yummy food, great service, gluten free options, loved it, Blue Eye Dragon is a great place to go before a show at the Lyric Theatre.

Great atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff and excellent food. Came to restaurant before a show and they made sure we had our meal in plenty of time and not feeling hurried at all. Will definitely return and recommend to friends.

The food was overpriced with ordinary presentation of food & quality, we do like the texture of the noodle, very authentic, two very friendly & helpful waitress and also another two not so passionate waitress. Wouldn’t go back for the price & the quality of the food.

The food is always fresh and can be distinguished from other Asian cuisines. The staff are always helpful. The restaurant was full when we went.

All four of us thought the food was great. The staff serving us were very friendly and helpful. My husband and I live in Pyrmont and have been there before. Our two friends are from outside the area and were most impressed.

Fabulous, we love this place. Prawn rolls for entree and beef pancake was irresistible. Also loved the prawns in EXO sauce and fillet steak in pepper sauce is always perfect

it was nice. but just nice. a bit expensive for what we got and one waitress was very nice but yhe other was almost rude.

Amazing food in an old school hall!! Worth a visit for the crispy chicken, the beef pancake rolls. The service is efficient and friendly and they are very prompt!

Brilliant Taiwanese food, in a very cool venue with the best hosts in owner Muriel and maitre d Jimmy. Highly recommended to eat at the Blue Eye Dragon.

Interior is a bit dark but nice friendly staff. Food seemed authentic and very good quality. It is rather cold in there and we weren't happy that they decided to turn the heater on much later when there were more guests in the restaurant. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience.

The food here is fantastic. Its a beautiful restaurant where the food is a perfect blend of traditional tastes with modern flare. The staff are also lovely and helpful. I'd highly recommend it.

Food was great, good service and nice setting in the old hall, service was prompt and the mixed starters were superb, would highly recommend, 2 minute walk to the Casino

Friendly staff, on name basics. The restaurant lighting was dim (a good thing) not bright the décor was nice oriental displays, on a cold day the restaurant was warm not too hot. They had all the base’s covered, gave plenty of time to order they asked us if we were sharing which we were. That made thinks easy for us. Wine & Beer list was good. This was not my first visit. The food is consistently good - flavoursome, light and well presented,with a well matched wine list that is not overpriced.

Amazing food and great staff. The crispy chicken and rib eye were the best I've ever had. Would highly recommend the banquet A for groups.

Soft shell crab was amazing! Really good dishes and well balanced banquet menu and lots of good choices, really nice to have a banquet menu where you can pick some of your dishes! Lovely staff.

Our large party enjoyed excellent service and sensational food. Those with dietary restrictions were expertly cared for and the wine list is thoughtful and good value. Also, some of the best tea you will ever get!

Great atmosphere, the place has a great vibe. The service and food are excellent and the menu is reasonably priced too. We had a group of six and chose the $48 set menu which had plenty of food.

Absolutely fantastic. Every dish was spectacular, different and fresh, with great flavours. Restaurant had a great atmosphere. The price of each dish was reasonable and well worth it. Will be dining there again very soon!

Blue eye dragon was excellent. We had a group of 10 for pre theatre dinner and with some special dietary requirerents and they were so helpful when I booked ensuring everything would be great. The food was excellent and the service too. Great open building (old church) and we had a drink in the outside area. Soft shell crab the best!

Great food & setting! Very nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Staff were friendly & attentive. Definitely get the five spice chicken entree....the taste is sensational!

Staff were friendly and attentive food was okay a few dishes were a bit bland for our taste. School Prawns and Shalot pancakes were the pick.

Was perfect for a night out before the theatre. Service was excellent, didn’t take long for the dishes to start coming out and we love the flavour of every dish- we had an banquet 4entrees and 4 main. A great way to really taste a great variety of dishes

Exquisitely tasty food for the price. We had a banquet and could have been slightly more food to fill five guys with appetites up. Would recommend.

Great food, great ambience in a renovated church hall in the back streets of Pyrmont. A hidden gem , really only known by locals. Since my last visit the courtyard has been set up as a bar with grand imported bamboo plants.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming, we were running late and they simply asked is to stay safe and arrive when we can. The most delicious food! We did the $58 banquet, don't hesitate it is so good!

We were a table of 6. All meals were excellent, fresh and tasty, service was attentive and friendly and the whole place has a lovely ambiance.

Service and attention was excellent. Whilst the conversion of church into restaurant is moody with low lighting and white tablecloths it is a little too subdued and my party of 5 agreed it needed some background music.

Simply wonderful food in a quirky setting. My favourite Asian restaurant in Sydney, or anywhere for that matter. I love their signature dishes, especially the prawns in blood plum sauce.
