Black Bull Tapas

I booked a reservation about 2 weeks in advance for Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend at 7:15pm. We arrived there and were asked to wait at the bar until they could get us a table- which it was pretty busy so we understood. Once we were sat, it took 25 minutes to get a piece of bread, another 10-15 after that the tapas dish came out. Then we waited, waited, and waited for our mains. We waited almost two hours to get our main. I had enough at this stage and decided to just pay for the tapas and leave because I wasn’t waiting any more for that meal. As we were paying for the tapas, one of the waitresses told us that our order has just come up, but unfortunately there was already a bad taste in our mouths. I would just really like to say though that the waitress that helped us at the end was so lovely- I don’t know her name, but she was small with dark hair in a blue scrunchie, and she was literally so lovely, and even though she was super stressed with the amount of people at the restaurant, she made sure that my girlfriend and I ended on a positive note. I wouldn’t come here again, but I think that’s less to do with the food/atmosphere, but more with the obvious lack of care the manager has for the staff and their customers. I applaud the waitresses and cooks for their efforts on Valentine’s Day- I just wish there were more staff on to help you guys out.

Get rid of the carpet and noise generating from staircase at the back of the restaurant. Wipe tables.

Valentines was unorganised unfortunately. Booked for 7.30 however didn’t get seated for 15 mins. Mains weren’t received until 2 hours after sitting down. More organisation needs to be in place, next time will go elsewhere.

Was a great relaxed atmosphere. Staff were friendly, helpful & readily available to help. Couldn't of asked for food to be any better. Perfectly cooked, great taste & presentation was spot on. Well worth the time spent there. Will definately be back. 👍😀

All our meals came out at different times, my entree came out after my main about an hour after the others ate. The lady who served us was lovely but we won't be back!

Staff fabulous! Atmosphere great. There was chatter from other guests and the atmosphere was relaxed and happy. I could talk and laugh with my guests without feeling like you could be heard by others. Food very nice and the price appropriate. Good value and good fun. I would highly recommend.
