our first visit to Bistro Coccote - a great neighbourhood French that feels authentic , doesn't try to hard , has a great wine list we enjoyed a resiling from Alsace , the rib eye fillet with peppercorn sauce was sensational , husband loved the steak tartare and the duck cassoulet, a great meal with attentive service finished off by a calvados in a lovey goblet - will definitely go back!

Overall, a deliciously authentic French dining experience. The goats cheese salad was a delight, the boeuf bourguinon perfection and the homemade ice cream as delectable as you can imagine. Only the overly peppered ratatouille and the overly sweet sauces cloaking the more mature taste of the chocolate mousse were disappointing.

The food is delicious and the wine selection is fantastic. I've already been back twice and will keep coming back until I've tried everything on the menu.

Food is good but service was a bit slow. Probably be easily improve with one more waitperson. Overall experience was still okay as food was good.

BC is our local. We like it a lot. Sure, the service isn’t perfect but it’s wonderfully friendly. The food is consistently good. The seafood is stand out; pan fried Barra and the mussels! Fresh warm bread, an Amuse Bouche of escargot and an Alsace Pinot Gris - just delish! Typical French bistro really - only in Haberfield. Really enjoyable.

Love this restaurant! It’s tucked away in a quiet suburb and it’s a lovely cosy place. The food is always sensational and the staff are friendly, and happy to give recommendations or answer any questions (especially if you struggle with French).

If the beef bourguignon is on the menu, it’s a must try, the meat is so tender. Great atmosphere, the staff are attentive and friendly and the food never disappoints.

The restaurant dealt with social distancing and cleaning very well. we felt very comfortable. Mostly importantly.. the food choice was excellent as was teh quailty, and the service. Complimentary snails to start was a lovely surprise. Highly recommend.
