Steak not as tender Steak lovers But still lovely evening Thanks to staff on shift
Gone down hill since my last visit. Food was very ordinary.
Very shabby hotel. Service was good, food was just OK.
Steak was fatty and greasy. Not the usual cut they had served in the past. Very disappointed and won't be back anytime soon.
Great gluten free options. One of our favourite places to dine at
We went to the Beehive as my son is coeliac and lots of gluten free options but it was very disappointing, Very predictable menu. Steak was ordinary. Ordered drinks before the waitress told us out specials came with drinks. It was OK but will not rush to go back.
Fabulous food and friendly service and the Campari Prosecco Spritz was magnificent !
Good food and service deserved more than the 3 tables that were there.
Excellent range of delicious gluten free foods...separate kitchen for gluten free.
We were in a big group on the grand final day and it was great as we had space for the 20 of us. We made the service a little slow but overall we were all happy.
Booked on line for 7:30, asked for a table by the window, but didn't get it. We understand that requests can't always be met, so we accepted a table which was available, and had red wine which was not worth the high price. Had the atmosphere of a pub which has been upgraded into a restaurant, but didn't quite take the time to give it some charm. Very bright lights and unsuitable "music" don't help. Couple at next table were playing videos on their phone. We didn't stay for dinner. Maybe we just went on a bad night.
Good pub food. My steak was wonderful and my companion enjoyed the vegetarian pizza.
fantastic food, atmosphere & great service. enjoyed family dinner here on a Friday night - easy to book and parking great.
Decor dated. Cold. The food and service was nice. Won’t go back
Cosy family dining! All the good was delicious and the service was warm and friendly! Thanks Beehive!
Normally the beehive is exceptional, however this visit wasn’t so great. They were under staffed and you could see they were under the pump (which is not their fault, sometimes it can’t be helped) but they were out of stock of a few menu items which was disappointing. I still really enjoyed my gf halloumi burger and we’ll definitely be back!
First time diners will definitely return great meal, atmosphere and service.
For someone who requires a gluten free mean this is a fabulous place to eat. Even if this is not you, the meals were excellent and I certainly didn't leave hungry. would have liked to try the desserts but couldn't fit in. Wait staff were really friendly and made me feel very welcomed.
Great choice of gluten free meals and desserts. Staff were all very friendly. Definitely reccomend a visit.
The local pub you want to love but they are just so inconsistent, you never know what you are going to get! Ordering pizza from the wood-fired oven used to be a sure bet but the pizza last night was tasteless - its like they forgot to add salt! Parma's are good and some moments of magic with service.
Love the effort they make to cater for coeliacs!! Food tastes fantastic Thankyou
Fast service , food quality was good, reasonable value for money
Good staff, nice food, extended happy hour was a bonus.
Service was excellent and a delicious steak for a good price point
Having been to the Beehive for a lovelySunday roast (lamb) before I was quite disappointed this time. The roast pork was rather dry but the overall roast dinner was ok. I would have preferred to sit out the back as we did last time as the front bar is dingy and no matter where you sit it’s breezy and you got a frequent toilet whiff. Staff were good and we were well looked after.
Great experience at Beehive with good food and service. Well done.
We expected to be seated in the formal dining room, but instead we were in the front bar which is noisy, chilly and nothing special as far as a pleasant dining experience goes. Service was attentive. Mains were tasty but desserts were only just average.
It was really good honest service and the food was delicious. I had Spaghetti Marinara which had generous amounts of prawns, scallops, mussels and other delights. My friend had slow cooked beef ragout with gnocchi which was good. The only downside to the evening was that the room wasn't quite warm enough.
Yummy food, great company & quiet enough to converse easily
Excellent gluten free options and especially good to be able to get kids gluten free meals
Service was excellent and meal very satisfying. Overall enjoyable expierence.
Great food and service at this upmarket pub. All the usual pub favourites with many additional specials. Huge variety.
Had great food and wine for dinner catching up with friends.
very good food and staff extremely friendly and helpful. good wine list
Service and food was great, catered well for our group
Friendly service, cold beer and a great palma... what more do you need.
Visited the Beehive for Mother’s Day. My mother and her friend found the pork roast to be very dry. My calamari was nice. Cheesecake was average. Attentive service.
Excellent service great food fantastic for a coeliac gluten free menu👍
Great service, and wonderful Gluten Free food. My son loved it too.
Always great food, I enjoy it every time. Some more gluten free desserts would be nice. Like a gluten free tiramisu
Always happy with this restaurant. Food is amazing especially the gluten free options
Very good food and friendly, attentive staff. The Sunday roast was delicious.
Went to Beehive for the steak night. Steak was perfectly cooked and good quality. My daughter enjoyed the fish and chip meal she had.
Noisy pub venue with good food and service. Friendly staff.
Went here with my wife for a celebration . First thing I notice is the reception desk is sticky , then a soiled and stained menu . We were here anyway , we may just as well try the food as we live just around the corner. I ordered Lamb rump , said served medium rare on menu , yes edges was medium and centre just flipped in the pan . Taste was ok , but...., My wife ordered a Hamburger , I had to stop her as it was also just flipped to crust the outside. For drinks I ordered a Zema 2013 Cab sav which did not arrive and had to put in a reminder . I was then going to ask to have wine poured from bottle in front of me , but had already been poured out of sight . I then requested to have it poured in front of me and was told they could pour the glass of wine back into bottle and serve . I said no way , I want to know what I’m drinking ! Then male tall waiter came around with half full bottle and wanted to pour wine in front of me as I requested he used a unopened bottle . Response was “No Way”. I also said no way , AND no way returning to this awful establishment . Our evening which was meant to be a special one was completly destroyed
Amazing service, food and great evening at the Beehive hotel.
Friendly service by the waiter in the dining room. Very hot night which was ok as the air con was on but then they opened up the doors and it got boiling! Burger and pie was great but the calamari was very chewy and not tender at all. Pizzas not as good as they used to be. Smaller and thicker base.
Excellent food. Good wine list. Good atmosphere. Excellent waiting staff. Will go again.
