Always great food, always lovely service, AND good gluten free options! Try the salt and pepper prawns and squid together with the special fried rice... tasty.

Food is always good at Bambusa. William looked after us very well and the Service was good. Highly recommended. Will definitely go back again soon.

Food beautiful service great and affordable. We had the lemon chicken chilli beef and Shan Tung lamb. Bottle of wine and good friends how could you go wrong

We always have a great time at Bambusa, good service and great food at a reasonable price, what else can you ask for. I would recommend giving them a try.

Indifferent service. Poor communication about dishes. We asked what the neighbouring person was eating told it was roast duck noodles. When food came it had thin yellow noodles instead of the thick rice noodles our neighbour had. Explanation was that she had asked for gluten free. That was not explained when we ordered. Food was fairly tasteless. Disappointing as I had eaten really delicious food when invited to a meal there.

Bambusa has an interesting menu with some dishes we've not encountered anywhere else. Fluffy Duck is one example. Among or favourites are Salt and pepper squid and Shantung Lamb - both excellently done. Tables are well spaced and well sized so that it is a very comfortable restaurant in all respects.

The dumplings were awesome! Pan fried is the way we like them and Gran was converted as she has was not a fan before this evening.

The food was great as always, never disappointed in the food. Their pork buns are to die for!! The service was a bit slow but they were fairly busy so was to be expected.all in all it was a good night and will continue to go there

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to. Excellent service, fresh, tasty food and a tasteful fit-out including a private function room and outdoor seating. Can't fault it.

I love this restaurant - the service can be a little bit touch and go but the food is fantastic and I'll definitely keep coming back! If I lived closer this would also be my favourite take away option.

Pleasant and enthusiastic staff. We were well looked after staff always seemed to be there when required without being intrusive. Food was sensational and very price competitive.

Wanted to try his famous dumplings. They were amazing, but the helpfulness of the person serving us, and the willingness to adapt his menu a little to give us the best range of choices, was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, helpful, flexible AND great food.

We often have a meal at Bambusa. On every occasion we have enjoyed delightful food. Last night was no exception. The food was delicious and the wait staff happy, helpful and most attentive. I can highly recommend Bambusa

Great value for money! The food is tasty and unpretentious. The menu is extensive and pretty much caters to all dietary requirements. There’s definitely something for everyone!

We celebrated a family birthday at this restaurant, although I have also dined here about 6 other times with friends. Delicious, authentic food. We were full but couldn’t stop eating! Lovely front of house staff. Our food was ready very quickly and it was superb.

This would have to be one of the best Asian restaurants in Canberra. William and the team at Bambusa look after every need and the food is absolutely delicious. The Shantung Lamb is a must!!

Bambusa's menu has many dishes which are not offered at other Chinese/Malaysian restaurants which makes it a refreshing place to go. The atmosphere is casual but smart and there is good space between tables so that it is not noisy or crowded feeling. The service is excellent. And the food is fantastic.

Prompt and friendly service on a Wednesday night with wife and son. Food was delicious. Recommend the pork loin with honey and pepper and the boneless duck. Will return for sure.

Very tasty food that was different to the usual Chinese food on offer. The chilli chicken and spicy king prawns was delicious! Not too oily and just right. Highly recommend!

Great food and a reasonable wine list. Staff are friendly and efficient. The place is always busy but service is prompt. They handle gluten-free really well.

As visitors to Canberra, we found Bambusa by chance and returned for the second visit that we booked. We arrived early and were impressed by the courteous and informed service. The food, which was innovative, was well cooked and very tasty. We particularly enjoyed the steamed fish hotpot and the mushroom dumplings, but the rest was very nice as well.

Food was very average. I will not be visiting again. Not pricey and service was OK but with so much choice in Manuka, food has to be top notch.

Great service and food, restaurant was easy to find. Only down fall was I never got my tea I ordered but it may have been the lady not understanding. Overall, will definely return

We went on a Monday night and the restaurant was quiet. The food was good and the service friendly. The wine we initially ordered wasn't ordered and our second choice took a little while to arrive.
