Baja Cantina

We visited for a birthday celebration and the food was really tasty and very big serves. We had so much left over but it was delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Food is ALWAYS amazing and cocktails are delicious. Great service and very reasonably priced. Baja Cantina is my favourite local! I make sure to bring all my friends here

Great atmosphere, amazing food and generous serving sizes! I've been eating at Baja Cantina for years and have never once been disappointed and almost always eat so much I waddle out, definitely a sign of an awesome restaurant.

More tex mex than authentic Mexican, but slow on the drinks but overall works for a casual meal with friends

Great food, fast service. Recommend the Californian Burrito and cocktails. Classic burrito is also good value. Large servicing sizes which is great. Big groups work well here. Recommended.

Great food as usual, unfortunately Sunday lunch service was extremely slow as there was only one waitress. We were hungry and the food took forever! They need to re-think their staffing.

Nice busy place but food was serviced very fast and staff where A1. Would visit again. On a nice night ask for the seat near the window

The food is always amazing and worth it. We cant think of a better mexican restaurant. We will be back again and will likely bring our friends and family.

Baja Cantina is our favourite Mexican restaurant in Sydney! Always great food and atmosphere. It was especially fun to visit on Cinco de Mayo! :)

The food here is good without being spectacular. The serving sizes are more than ample and they have a good reasonably priced wine and cocktail list. The restaurant is vibrant and a nice space to eat in. The service is very attentive and the food come very promptly after you order!!

Service was great. However the chicken and pork was quite dry in the taco and tostadas. Ordering nachos and burritos was great part of the meal.

Great Mexican food with nice atmosphere. Portions of food are big and service is attentive. Have a wonderful dining experience with my mum and she very much enjoyed her first time of having Mexican food.

The food was fantastic and tasty. They were able to provide fast service, but it Just took a while to get the waiters' attention to bring us our bill.

We went there and ordered 3 different meals and most of them were not very tasty and it was oily. The food was very ordinary.

The food was okay, lacked flavours and Mexican authencity. I was expecting soft shell tacos and spicier flavours. Works well as tex mex but not for authentic Mexican food.

Wait staff didn't take my order properly. As a return customer food was average compared to other visits. No came back to ask if we needed anything else. The restaurant wasn't full so I can 't understand the lack of attention.

Consistently good mexican food. Don't expect a gourmet meal, just good standard fare and a great atmosphere with excellent service. Will be returning again soon.

Super awesome food (again) and great staff!! Relaxed atmosphere and fantastic value for money. Easy location to get to with lots of bars and a of couple cinema around if you're looking for something else to do after your meal.

Food was just as fabulous and generous as every other occasions although I did find that our food came out rather quickly this time. Not that it’s a bad thing, we simply enjoy waiting for our food. We had after all just ate our starters, a little more of a time gap would have been nicer. Regardless, we had a really wonderful time there. 👍🏻

Great vibe, great food; fresh, lots of it, and friendly staff. Really enjoyed our time at this restaurant. Also has a kids menu and no charge for cake.

Very good standard of Mexican - tasty and not too heavy. The vegetarian enchiladas were good, but unusual, with a generous filling of capsicum & cactus, giving it a light-slightly sour taste. I was disappointed they didn't have the classic cheese/onion/olive enchiladas for vegetarians, but they were were still nice. The "small" chips and trio of dips was very enjoyable and huge! Excellent margaritas.

I have been here multiple times across the years and the food is consistently delicious! Baja has the best cheese dip around, so do yourself a favour and try it ;)

The best Mexican place in Sydney CBD. Excellent service and the atmosphere is amazing. There cerviche is spot on and the fish tacos are to die for. Best of all; the owners really know how to make a great drink!!!

I've been going to Baja Cantina for years and the food and service is always exceptional! The atmosphere is lively and the live music really adds to the experience.

Food was excellent! The Chicken Mole was out of this world! The portion was hugely generous. Can’t wait to go back and try a different item.

Wait staff are friendly and helpful with our orders and requests. The food here brings back fond memories of the great Mexican food in California.

I really enjoyed the meal. I have been going there for a very long time. The guacamole is always spectacular and the taquitos are amazing.

Baja has a great atmosphere. The colourful walls and attentive staff provide an authentic experience. The portion sizes are generous and the drinks are perfect.

The best Mexican I have eaten in a long, long time. Great service, food and bar menu. Be warned - they only book 2 hour sittings, so if you are wanting to spend a night at a restaurant, this is a no go.

We really enjoyed the food at this Glebe institution. Had the chorizo and potato nachos and California surf and turf burrito. Highly recommend both. We'll be back!

Great customer service, excellent quality food and pleasant ambience. Speed of service is always a strong focus at Baja Cantina. Enjoyable entertainment provided on occasion.

Guacamole and taquito starters were very good. Our mains lacked flavour. The chipotle prawn quesadillas lacked any discernible chipotle. It was really a spice bypass, perhaps to cater for mild palettes, but is inappropriate for a mexican restaurant.

Food was fabulous and of high quality and generous proportion. Service was good too. One thing I’d like to see changed is the spraying of sanitiser onto the table. It gets blown and spreads to diners and clean utensils and glasses sitting nearby. Other than that, it’s an excellent experience at Baja Cantina.

Great food and friendly service. Instead on mince meat they use finely shredded meat. Went on a Saturday night and by 7:30pm the place was full of customers. The chimichunga is a must to try. Bathrooms could good do with a good clean though.

Great service, great food, great cocktails. We were a party of nine and everyone had a great night. Our waitress was so helpful and friendly and our drinks were brought very quickly and we were given lots of time to order and the food came out very swiftly once ordered. 5stars . Dave

Baja Cantina had lovely food and such friendly servers. I definitely recommend the nachos and the sangria. We had an awesome night with good vibes!
