Baccomatto Osteria is a sophisticated, bustling, Italian restaurant in Surry Hills. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and the food is very good. This is not your check table cloth and candle Italian, but something entirely contemporary.

Great atmosphere and wonderful service. The staff make you feel comfortable af welcome. The food is exquisite, and not your typical Italian restaurant. And the espressso Martini dessert is the one to have at the end of the wonderful meal!

As always, fabulous service and food in great relaxed surroundings. The fresh pasta is always fantastic and they are knowledgable about their wines. The staff here are an utter cheeky delight.

Great food and attentive, friendly service. Lamb shoulder was melting in the mouth and the veal & porcini ragu maccheroni was equally delicious. The salted cod & potato croquette was yummy too. This is our second time here and we'll definitely return again!

The service and food was fabulous, but the aircon was too cold until it was turned down after 9pm. Our server was very attentive and helpful regarding my Coeliac requirements.

Excellent Italian restaurant, the best we've been to on our trip around Australia and New Zealand. Great service, short, but well thought-through menu. It's not cheap, but we felt our meal was worth every dollar.

everything was brilliant from the staff to the food. Good accessibility in the restaurant but 4 steps to the toilets. the staff were outstanding. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

We went for Christmas Eve dinner expecting Baccomatto Osteria to be better than it is. Dissapointing and quite expensive for what was served. Anti pasta and wine were lovely mains nothing to write home about but the Tiramusu excellant. Prob won’t return

I could tell you about the amazing food, the beautiful room and the amazing plates and wines but what truly defines this place is the feeling of home. The beauty of this restaurant are the people in it and how warm and welcome you feel. There is really no place more comfortable to be we will definitely be regulars here!

Really tasty seafood fregola special for pasta and wine Monday’s. Always super friendly staff and probably the best spritz in town. Always love this restaurant.
