One of my friends got sick from the duck. I ordered the gnocchi which tasted amazing but found a very thin hair like piece of plastic in one of the dumplings. Otherwise service and environment was excellent. I expected more from a restaurant with those prices.

A great restaurant with friendly staff and certainly value for money

Two people in our party had stuffed Zucchini Flowers, Baby Eggplant, Goats Cheese, Roasted Tomato Sauce for entree- the portion size was far too small. Again, one of the guests had the special - a traditional Roman dish - Cacio e pepe with a glass of pinot - the portion size was far too small. Otherwise, the restaurant was perfect and I would highly recommend it to family and friends.

Service was brilliant. Drinks were in full flow with lots of choices and the food was delicious. I have been ill and haven’t been able to eat properly for 6 weeks. What a treat to come here as a celebration :) The octopus entré was so well balanced, the pork and chestnut pureè was a highlight! My only complaint would be that an Osteria is usually more basic with a reduced menu and uglier setting but honestly the food was so yummy and the space was really nice so i’m loving this new vision of what it can be. Over priced and pretentious. Food was nice enough but small potions. Sides are needed and are quite expensive.

My husband & I had Saturday dinner here on a friend’s recommendation. Nice spot, very friendly & relaxing service (thank you, Mich & Xanthippe!). Not all meals were to our liking, but that’s probably just us - the restaurant was full & everybody seemed happy & enjoying. Might try it again.

We've never had a bad experience here. The steak was juicy and tender, the duck breast perfectly cooked. There's tiramisu on the menu but not much chocolate which is a crying shame for some of us. Otherwise it's one of my favourite restaurants.

Exceptional in every way, from the fabulous friendly, knowledgeable staff to the delicious food. Another brilliant night at this fantastic restaurant. Can't wait to return.

The staff were all very happy and nice, and the food was not bad. It wasn't as high quality as I expected, but still good. The prices were maybe a bit high for what was served. The waiters were really slow, we waited at least 15 minutes before they came around to take our order. Overall not too bad, but not amazing either.

The food is delicious, interesting and not your run-of-the-mill Italian. Friendly and attentive staff who always make you feel welcome. One of the best Italian restaurants in Sydney. They should have a hat.

Went for the first time on our anniversary, great venue, great service, food was fantastic. Had the Octopus sopressa and the Duck was the best I’ve ever tasted. Definitely be back here!

Food was fabulous, service impeccable, a wonderful evening on a busy valentine's day. We led off with the meatballs and then had the pesto spaghetti and the linguine with clams. Both were Wow.
