Tea was cold. Menu was incorrect or some things weren’t served. There was no tea sommelier as advertised. No information given about how good was served or what to do. Very slow service for tea, had to ask every time we wanted some, including the first time.
Was a little disappointed with savouries, but loved the chocolate bar.
It seemed it was the waitresses first day. We were seated quickly. Sparkling wine was served and unfortunately a glass was spilt all over one of my guests. As the young waitress was very nervous, we mopped up and made light of what had happened. However, her service just deteriorated from there. We had to ask for dry napkins as they were a sodden mess. She brought out one and then went back for others. We had to ask for a clean cup as it was full of spilt wine, then we asked for a teaspoon which wasn’t forthcoming so we shared. We waited a long time for the food to be replenished and our tea orders weren’t taken until an hour after we arrived. My previous experiences have been wonderful but this time I was bitterly disappointed and embarrassed. Even if the waitress had given us a smile that would have been a positive. However, I don’t think her heart was in it. The rest of the staff were lovely and the setting beautiful so I will try again in the future and hope this was a one off.
Absolute Heaven! Will return. Great experience to celebrate a birthday
Our second visit to Aria for High Tea - much busier than the first time but no drop in the level of service or quality of the food. Savoury courses delicious and unlimited sweet items on offer. Savouries were replenished but another scone or two would have been welcome - a personal favourite ! Overall great but at $84 / head - no alcohol - make sure you arrive on an empty stomach !
It was absolutely wonderful - the venue the food the desserts the drinks just amazing - the High Tea is a must!

We had an extra guest join our table at last minute and just like that there was an extra place setting 👌
Service was very slow. Not offered tea or coffee - had to ask for it. Not worth the price I paid.

We were happy overall. There was a slight mixup with table settings but very minor. The food was amazing
Amazing high at Langham aria bar. My mother in law and myself enjoyed every moment, consistent with the top ups of free flow Prosecco ( which was great Prosecco too) food was delicious and plenty of it! We were so full afterwards! Would recommend and will be returning!
It would have been better to have vegan options and less sweet desert.
The service was very poor. We had to ask to refill water glasses ask to clean the table. We were told we would get a cupcake and candle for my daughter birthday. When we asked we got 2 to take home. They do stale we through them away. We have often come to your high tea. The experience was very disappointing.
Minnie Mouse menu not that great my child didn't like most of the items
Our high tea was a wonderful, special experience. I would highly recommend it!
Lovely setting and very good service. Savoury dishes on the high tea plate was very unusual - Mac and cheese?? Too many sandwiches and quite basic Music was really appropriate. Fruit platter would had been a refreshing addition. No one explained the platter options
Didn’t really enjoy the cost of the $70 parking fee, spoiled my beautiful experience of afternoon tea.
High tea today was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves . Thank you!
Love the Langham entrance. Beautiful! The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. They really looked after us. No complaints there. Don’t like being negative but, the savoury items on the high tea were quite disappointing, dry bread and fillings very poor. No comparison compared with the Westin high tea. Would not return.
we have been coming to high teas for years now and this one was very disappointing. the seating area was extended to allow more high tea guests which increased the noise levels to a non bearable level and also increased our wait time to be served (40 minutes). I will more than likely explore a different school holiday treat as a result.
We had to wait at least 20 mins for the food to arrive. We had to keep an eye open to draw the attention of the waiting staff to get our water replenished. The staff were very slow and not very well organised. There was a mix up with the bottle of sparkling wine that was ordered. This too, we had to keep requesting for our glassses to be replenished. Lastly, we only had one serving of cream and jam for the table of 4 and we had to request some more. This was not a problem, it was the 10 mins we had to wait order to receive it. T
Food was delicious and quiet happy with the whole experience
The excellent service first class. All staff professional, polite and attentive. The high tea selection superb. (Would have preferred more savoury goodies) Beautiful decor, Wedgwood setting and venue. Will do this again for sure.
We booked High Tea at the Aria lounge for a celebratory occasion but were disappointed with the total experience. The service was slow and disorganised, five different wait staff attending us. We had to to re order the tea as it arrived cold. The food and quantity was okay however more sandwiches / savoury items would have been beneficial.
Overbooked. My child didn't get all the gifts other children got. Children shouldn't be charged the same as adults. Wasn't set up properly.
It was a very lovely experience, really enjoyed the lady who played the violin and sang
We booked for 13 but had two seperate tables which were a little way from each other. As a group celebrating one person it would have been nicer to be together Other than this the rest of the experience was beautiful
It was a really great meal with a great musician and excellent service.
We have visited the Aria Lounge many times before and very much enjoyed ourselves, this time was a big disappointment. The area had been extended which lost the intimate feeling and was quite noisy. The service was terrible and very slow. The food however was, as always, wonderful.
Whilst the food was delicious, the wait staff didn’t seem to know what was going on. A number of our waiters couldn’t hardly speak English and communicating our options was not an easy process.
Food was ordinary and not particularly fresh Do not recommend
Excellent'................ Would recommend delicious very nice atmosphere wow wow wow
The revive was terrible. It was extremely busy and the staff were run off their feet. It took a long time to be served our high tea and even longer to get our tea and coffee which we wanted to eat with our high tea but came when we had nearly finished. Very disappointed.
The food was amazing . We were there for the Nut Cracker high dinner before the ballet. Our dinner came on a three tier stand which looked beautiful, I wanted to keep the stand, my daughter and I got a glass of bubbles which was included. . The wait staff were excellent . We ordered our meal and the only little niggle was that it took awhile to come. We then didn’t have a lot of time to enjoy our delicious ensemble of cold meats, fish and small desserts. Our early evening then became a rush to get to the theatre. We made it with ten minutes to spare. 😄
My only complaint was, I had a piece of glass in one of the pieces of food. I did let the waitress know and she said the manager will come and see me, but know one came. Otherwise all was great.
Ther service was very poor and the food was not great either.
Terrible service. Had to get up and ask for a glass of water as we’d seen no one after 45 mins.
Too expense really, could be better value than the set price
Friendly staff and attractive interior. Great ambience! We will definitely return....
Took an hour for our high tea to arrive after we were seated. Children were starving. We’re given discounted price. Disappointing when travelled 2hrs to attend. Obviously not enough staff on.
Lovely place for a high tea and staff were great
Great food and very friendly service with a smile 👍
Amazing. We had High Tea and the service was superb. The food, dessert buffet and chocolate fountain were delicious
It was a lovely experience for my mums birthday, the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the set up was beautiful. Will come back again
Champagne was served flat to us, not a bubble in sight. We requested another glass which was delivered as it should have been. The bar and waiting staff should have seen to it that no flat sparkling wine was ever given to a customer. Also, the menu was not given to us immediately. We should have received this prior to being asked for any orders. Otherwise, the food was excellent and the service was good. An enjoyable day, despite a poor start for a hotel such as The Langham.
Fantastic service, great food and wine definitely will be back again
Not value for money, for $84 it was not worth it. The food was very average and the vegetarian options not nice.
A great afternoon spent with my family. Staff were attentive and prompt. Dietary requirements were met without issue. A great experience.
Overall good but not fantastic Ambience lovely and relaxed Table service friendly but I needed to initiate need for items etc eg tea refill clean plate tea cups were stained and needed replacing Cream looked old and not fresh - had to ask for another plate as not enough for two people
Food and drink quality were good however we were let down by the service of the staff and organisation/ cleanliness of the High Tea serving. Waitress looking after our table was cold and unfriendly; our cutlery and cups had not been cleaned properly and when we simply asked for an exchange of those impacted on our table, the waitress made us then feel as though we were an imposition and was quite abrupt towards us. Inadequate servingware such as serving tongs/ plates/ and no spoons for sauces on the self serve tables. Plates and cutlery cleared with lengthy delays between replacement meaning we were sitting idly (aside from our chatter) for long periods without the ability to consume high tea we had paid for. For the price paid for this high tea sitting there are far better offerings in the city - we came here as a change from The Windsor and I’m sorry to say we probably wouldn’t choose this as an alternate option again.
Disappointing high tea, would not return. Definitely other places do a much better job.
