food was amazing - little expensive by about 10% but quality was amazing. Waiter knocked over an expensive bottle of wine but they were amazing with a solution and we left very happy- will be back!

Arabesque has always been great and this visit was fantastic! We shared a haloumi and fig starter then stuffed squid followed by an incredible fish dish. Interesting and reasonably priced wine list and great service.

On arrival at 6.30pm staff look surprised to see us and it seemed like they were not ready for us. Took the staff a while to get organised eg drinks, menus etc once they took out order it was delivered promptly and atmosphere and food was good

I reserved a space, requesting not to be seated near a doorway. They seated us near a doorway. Every time the door opened (which was often) the breeze and cold would blow onto us. Unreserved couples came in and were seated in better spots. Told the waiter who said he would check for a better seat and that the website was down so they weren't aware of reservations but never came back to us. Got knocked by someone's bag too, as new arrivals would gather behind me. Otherwise food was okay.

We had a really fantastic dinner. The food was amazing. Our waitress was friendly and extremely helpful. The chef bent over backwards to accommodate my dietary needs. Wii go again

This is the 3rd Mother’s Day we have been to Arabesque. There is nothing that beats its delicious food and fantastic friendly staff. It’s a melbourne treasure.

Had a very good meal. Very fresh, well spiced food which was attractively presented. The decor, atmosphere, lighting and music was also appealing. Sunday night was not so busy, so our service was very efficient. I find some of the bad reviews hard to understand, because we really enjoyed eating here.

Noise was unbearable- could hardly hear friends talking. Very dark and dull. Temperature fluctuated. Small servings. We specifically didn’t order chicken breaststroke meal, and yet was served breast with meal that was described as having chicken pieces.

Plain insipid food, soggy rice, no spices, awful. Very disappointing. A 'Turkish' soft drink tasted like Fanta with water. Avoid the Lebanese Banquet, except the hummus starter was OK.
