The food, staff and service, restaurant atmosphere and location made for a great evening. Will be returning to Amigos on our next visit to Melbourne.

A great atmosphere there on Hardware Lane plus good fresh Mexican food = a great dining experience. Definitely worth the visit! Their quick lunch menu makes it feasible to get a good deal in and out during a work lunch and costs are quite reasonable.

Food was so delicious! Service was great, the waitress we had was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for Mexican lunch/dinner

Staff were super friendly upon arriving and were understanding about us running late. Drinks were delicious and well made and wait staff were quick to take orders. Food was amazing and tasty.

I have been going to the amigos stores for over 20 years the Hardware lane store is the only remaining store with the original Amigos flavour. Always fantastic food.

Amigos is a great place to go. The best chimichanga I’ve had since moving from Texas to Aus. Try it out! You won’t be disappointed.

Great food and service. The staff were very helpful and made suggestions on how much to order which was great as I hate wasting food by over ordering.

We have a amigos in Wanaka New Zealand that I thought was great, after visiting amigos in hardware lane, the wanaka one has a lot of work to do to catch up on you guys. I highly recommend. Great service and great meals

Meals came out very slowly for a large group, wait staff seemed uninterested and also forgot drink orders that never came. Atmosphere was good, food was tasty. Probably would only return for smaller groups.

Good food, sangria, and mulled wine. Only meal questionable was paella... Mexican paella just OK... but rest of food authentic and awesome. Recommend restaurant highly

Staff was very attentive and service was lovey. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. Our table was set in the corner, which was great as it gave our own little space to dine a bit away from the rest.

Waited over an hour for our food, the food tasted horrid. Was a bad first time experiencing "Mexican Food". Would not recommend anyone to go there.

Great spot on the second floor by a window that allowed us to people watch in the lane below. The food was as good if not better than any Mexican we have had before. Will definitely return.

Food came quickly and was well presented. Sangria was delicious, tacos tasty and burrito excellent. Plenty of gluten free options to choose from. We'll be coming back.

Nie Mexican food. Good place to have vegeterian mexican. nIce hot and spicy. The meal was amazing! So much food! Will be back next visit to Melbourne.antastic Mexican restaurant on Hardware Lane. Even in winter, the outdoor seating is nice and warm due to the heating. Waiter remembered us from a previous visit, including what we ordered. Excellent food, but don't expect cheap. Expect ~ $80 - $100 for dinner for two.

Lovely place. Great staff, great food, great cocktails. We've been here a few times now and highly reccomend the nachos with choritzo. Will be back soon!

The food is brilliantly priced and tastes just as amazing. We ordered the small nachos to share, and then some tacos and a burrito and they were just superb. The service was brilliant they the atmosphere of the place was very sheik and retro which allowed for another experience in itself. The food came in relatively quick time, and the staff were always attentive to your every wish and made sure that your experience was a memorable one. We will defiantly be going back soon.

Food was great, the service was completely disinterested. It got to the point that it was amusing us as to which of the serving staff could be less interested. They must have had a long day!

Average meal unfortunately. I've been to the Chapel Street Amigos multiple times (sadly they've closed) so assumed Hardware lane would be much the same regarding food, etc. ordered nachos, the tortilla chips almost tasted stale, the waitress muddled up my friends order, there was a patron smoking at the table next to us...sadly I won't be returning.

It was a good experience but I had mentioned when making the booking that it was our daughter's 21st birthday and I was disappointed that they did it make any effort to make a little fuss about her.

Delicious food, wonderful service & great location. I had the chicken nachos and my husband had the chicken tacos. Both were really good. Highly recommend this place.

Great service! Friendly staff! Delicious food! Our favourite Mexican restaurant had recently closed down. However, we've just found our new favourite. Our tummies are very satisfied.

Service was a little slow but the Sangria made up for it. Beef Colorado was decent and they do a nice traditional Margherita as well.

Food was delicious. Service reasonably quick. Shame about having to pay extra for sour cream but other than that I considered my meal to be value for money.

The food choice was great, and there were options for vegetarians and vegans. I had the Fajita which was delicious. The dish servings were also ample.

Food was good . We were told to take the set menu because the number of people was more than 12. We originally booked for 12 people. However due to unavoidable circumstances we had to bring 3 kids along with us ( aged 7). The management forced us to take the set menu for all 15. We did nit like the set menu. Therefore we were given only 12 main meals. 3 of us had to take some sides. I find this very unacceptable. I will not go there again.

The food and the service was good and would recommend to try it, however not the best choice if you're after a child friendly place.

The service was great but the beef fajitas were tough and difficult to cut with a knife. The salad with the fajitas was a very small portion and the rice was dry. I won't be returning. I didn't enjoy the food at all.

A warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service was exceptional and generous portions food that is so yummy!!!! I would recommend Amigos to all lovers of genuine Mexican food.

We went for dinner after work with colleagues, nice food and ambience. Drinks menu was good too. All of us liked it and strongly recommend to try this place and will come back again.

I came here for my birthday on a Saturday night. The service staff weren't exactly the most attentive and the food was nothing to write home about. For Mexican style food i feel that this place was disappointing especially their lukewarm sangria!

This place is really cozy and well decorated. The food was yummy and the staff very friendly. The music was very up to date of what is being played in the South American radio stations!!! Very enjoyable experience.

The service was good but i would rate the food as average....The design of the restaurant needs to be re looked at and the place is in need of an uplift...

Great atmosphere, and cocktails were delicious! Make sure to get there for Happy Hour! The food was great - very big serves!! Service was friendly and attentive, overall a fun night for our group. Something to note is that they don't split bills, so come prepared!

We have been here previously and enjoyed the restaurant, however, last night the service by staff was poor. Main course beef fajitas, beef very tough, and our table was subject to draft from front door. We are unlikely to return
