Food was fine - would come back again. The happy hour cocktails were a let down. So packed full of ice you barely managed a couple of sips. That kind of stingy trick makes you wonder where else they’re cutting corners. Also staff were a little inattentive- had to go to the bar and break up their chatting to get service.

Food was average and overpriced for what you received. I had nachos with chorizo and there was very little meat on the plate. The drink special are good value for money.

It was good but not great. Nice location and atmosphere and great sangria, but the nachos were average and guacamole wasn’t really guacamole (more like green sour cream) and weirdly presented in a dish with the corn chips standing on their sides. Would go there again for drinks and Pico de Gallo though :)

Excellent service and food with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, which is a rare find in the bug of hardware lane. Look forward to visiting again.

Great drinks and food. Atmosphere was ambient. Staff were nice, polite and helpful. Toilets were upstairs, long walk from downstairs. Food came out prompt and tastes so good.

Very quaint location. In a sea of other restaurants but not out of their depth. Fabulous food, large portions (be warned) and great service. Would recommend for lovers of Mexican food.

We paid $70.50 for old El Paso from the supermarket. It’s was flavourless, tasteless and no where near the Amigo’s I remember from when I went a few years ago. I was embarrassed to have recommended it after my experience there last night.

Service was a liitle slow, and the beef in my Fajita was so tough it was almost un-chewable. Meals were too large and seemed a lot of waste, perhaps make meals smaller, so prices can be kept down, as I felt overpriced. Would not return.

Food was great service was very slow and drinks took about half an hour to come out. Would recommend but it’s a shame about the service times

Very friendly staff and great food. Loved the mexican mules 👍😉 Eat too much and left happy and full. Hardware Lane has a great atmosphere and would recommend a visit to Aimgos to all.

Loved this place, friendly staff, prompt service, awesome atmosphere. Had happy hour drinks and they were fabulous, as were our main meals. Definitely reccomended to all!

Quite average Mexican Food. Fonda's is much better. Also please offer some spicy food options as you did not have any spicy sauce or fresh chili. Only a horrible sweet chili sauce was available.

The Stormy Weather cocktail was balls deep!! The large nachos could have been bigger and there could have been more beef in the shredded beef, but it was great!

I wish I could give more blocks for my experience! Food was delicious! We had the stuffed jalapenos, which were so good, we ordered another plate! There were 7 of us, and the orders were Nachos, Fajitas, Burrito's and the trio of dips. Not one complaint from anyone. The portions were generous and the food was really flavoursome. Coctktails were fantastic! and even though there was a large group of us, we did not wait long for food or drinks. Staff were fantastic, Our server "Raul" was really accommodating, friendly and professional. I would HIGHLY recommend this place, in fact, as it was my 40th birthday celebration, several people at the table who have birthdays coming up, have decided to have their meal there as well! Thanks Amigos!!! You made my 40th a night to remember xx
