Food was pretty good but you can probably get better value dim sum elsewhere.

food is not good. And because we had dinner at around 8PM, no river view can be seen, all black night. Unworthy although the service was great.

The 3-course peking duck was delicious. Staffs were very attentive and polite. Nice atmosphere and reasonable price. Overall we are very happy and will come back and dine here again.

Very nice meal great service good menu only down side exhaust fans from kitchen were very noisy this is heard as is open plan wasn't noticed until kitchen closed down at end of service then the music could be heard and the background drone disappeared plenty of parking out front is charged for good night thank you

The food was very good. The Toothfish was especially tasty. Few vegetarian options, but our vegetarian guest enjoyed his two dishes. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. Only two negatives - the cost of parking; $15 for 90 minutes! And the toilets were very dirty.

Our party of four dined for a special occasion. Service was fantastic from the start - we took a long time to look over menus as we were busy chatting and we weren't rushed at all! We ordered entrees and a main each and were surprised at how large all the serves were. We definitely could've skipped entrees or ordered a dish less at each course. The bean curd rolls were all our favourite entree while the sizzling Sichuan beef and tofu hot pot were standout mains. Our wine and water was constantly refilled but we had no room for dessert. Highly recommend this venue!

Everything was as expected. The service was good and most of the items we had were good to excellent. Due to the variety with dim sim, it's rare that every item is good.

Always good dim sum and service. Sometimes I feel so rushed to pick the dishes. We don’t have time to think which dish we want to take( eat). We picked too many Dishes, they got cold after for while.

Food is good and service is great. But I thought it was a little pricey. But I have to say that the surrounding is amazing, situated next to the river.

There used to be a great Chinese restaurant on the Esplanade called the "Grand Palace" (it was compulsory acquired by Colin Barnett to make way for the awful Elizabeth Quay Development) Anyway, 8 on the Point has now replaced the Grand Palace. The lunch today was fantastic, don't forget to try the Snow Crab if its available. Plenty of parking and views over the Swan River to make you feel very relaxed as they serve you with great attention and detail Thanks very much 8 on the Point. We will be back!!!!!!!

An awesome experience my husband and I had last night. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The customer service was excellent. The staff had so much professionalism and they were very nice and friendly. We are definitely going back again. The best Chinese restaurant we have been to. Keep it up !!!

Really nice food. A bit on the expensive side for dim sum but can't fault the quality of the food. The location is very pretty but a bit isolated and you have to pay city prices for hourly parking.

Good food. Whereas entree took sometime mains were quick. Good tasting food but quantities are smaller than I have seen in most Chinese restaurants. Staff were good and professional.

Food great, service excellent but then at the end to be told there is a 2.5% surcharge for using a credit charge disappointing . Who pays any other way

Fine Chinese Dining with 5 star service. Food was excellent. Try the duck. When there are a lot of Asians eating there it’s always a good sign that the food is good.

An excellent dim sum - really the best going in Perth at a class venue with excellent service. Forall of that, $230 for six people was a very reasonable price.It was our second dim sum at 8 on the Point and the very high standard has been maintained - Ihope that can continue.

Very nice food and great service. Everyone was very pleasant. As we were a table for 5, we were seated at quite a large table, so without a lazy susan it was difficult to pass food across the table.
