Fantastic farewell lunch venue for a big group! Everyone enjoyed the Dim Sim. Too bad we missed out on the egg tarts... that’s the only disappointment.

Top recommendation for contemporary Chinese Yum Cha in Perth. Lots of varieties, and taste great and good value for what we got.

a bit disappointed about them not updating their dinner menu. Two of the dishes that we wanted to order were no longer available on their menu that were presented to us. On a positive note, great contemporary decor, nice comfy chairs.

Always enjoy my visits to 8 on the point. Such a nice ambience and pleasant surroundings. Although the continual flow of food offerings is essential, sometimes too many can disturb the atmosphere we the guest trying to present to others. Thank you for another enjoying moment. Greg

Love the restaurant setting and atmosphere. Service provided is good as they have friendly staff. Great quality of food served. Live steamed fish is good but can be pricy. The traditional yu sheng is lovely!

The resturant is very good in all ways. Staff are polite and give perfect customer service, food excellent and atmoshere perfect for our 35th Wedding Anniversary.

Food was above average for Cantonese food in Perth. However, disappointed with service . Was made to wait despite reservation and completely ignored despite several reminders that we hav e been waiting for our table The female captain asked us severral times if we had made a reservation despite our remnders.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in Perth at the moment. I came to this restaurant 5 times this time I came to Perth. Food was excellent, service was good.

Great food, don’t let the wait staff give you food unless you really want it. You’ll end up with too much food. Pace yourself and try what you want

Had Dim Sum Friday lunch time: Service was great, staff were super friendly and helpful. Had a child with us and high chair provided. Food was fantastic - great variety, fresh and great flavours.

The food was good. The restaurant wasn’t too noisy. Parking was easy to find, but you had to pay for it. Nice area to walk around after eating. Really liked the deep fried prawn spring roll.

Our favourite dimsum restaurant but we booked for the special Peking Duck promotion. Didn’t disappoint, the duck skin was crispy and meat tender. Service always top notch, Jason the floor manager make sure our request for table position was made due to our special circumstances. He is a great asset!

Luxury Chinese food and very nice staffs. Dim sum for lunch is our favorite,dinner is good for some special occasions! Kids friendly and we love the river view.

We could have a very good time at this restaurant. The Beijing Duck and other meals were very delicious. Additionally the atmosphere was very nice.

Place was empty! Food tasted very good but serve sizes were very small. Wanted tub of white rice but they only sold it by the small bowl. Staff were good/friendly. Parking expensive.

Delicious food topped with excellent service! Definitely a restaurant worth bring your family and friends to for a celebration! Price of the food is slightly more expensive, but it worth every dollar!

Food awful and overpriced. The crayfish are not fresh and expensive only the favour sre ok . $700 for a crayfish are crazy’ prices. Will bot come back again

Stunning food, excellent service, one of the best Chinese restaurants in Perth. We celebrated my father in laws birthday last night and we were not disappointed . The flavour of the food was intense and delicious. The service was professional without being intrusive. Will definitely go back.

Food is delicious and all staff are lovely. Parking is costly there but the restaurant is highly recommended for dim sum lunch and a-la-carte dinner.

Food was good, although a little toned down to suit a non-Chinese clientele. Service on the whole was good and not over-attentive, but we were kept waiting for our tea, which is not usual in yum-cha restaurants. Ambiance and decor were above average and noise levels were low enough to be able to chat comfortably.

We were greeted warmly on arrival and led to the table I had booked for 10. A waitress arrived soon and asked if we would like to order some drinks, which we did. We then had to ask for a waiter to come to the table to discuss the menu and decide what to order. A number of dishes were ordered but they were not brought to the table in the sequence they were asked to be served. Being at a table with 10 seated, it would have been better if a waiter was on hand to serve the dishes on to the plates.. The tables did not have any napkins which we then had to ask to be provided. The food was reasonable tasty though more expensive than we had thought. The service at the table can do with improvement and better attention to fulfil the standard of a good restaurant.

The food was beautiful, the ambience was delightful and the service from everyone was superb. I couldn’t have hoped for a better dining experience. Thank you.

We had their 3 course Peking duck and snow crab special. Was cooked perfectly with awesome service

Great food as usual. Although we asked for tomatoes sauce multiple times whether it be in Chinese or English no one understood but the head waitress. We also asked several times for tea but the staff seem to not listen. Not sure if they know how to handle the restaurant when there is a lot of customers. Although the restaurant was not full at all. But still a good experience for their food.

We waited so long for our food. Was there from 7 and only finished eating at 10ish pm. I don't know is it because they went into administration. You can read the news on Perth now "Award-winning Chinese restaurant 8 on the Point in hands of administrators"

Four of us had the dim sum lunch on a Wednesday. We booked online and were given a table near the window with wonderful views of the bush and river. The food is freshly prepared, served from roaming trollies like in most dim sum places. There is a large range of dishes. Everything we had was delicious and creatively presented. We also ordered a couple of dishes that weren't on the trollies- Shanghai Dumplings and Chilli Squid, also which were very good. We had to wait awhile for the dumplings but were told they were being made fresh so well worth the wait. They arrived hot and full of juice. The service was very good, always someone nearby to answer queries or to pour more tea with the tea pot being refilled often. 8 on the Point is a little bit more expensive than other dim sums we've tried but given the delicious food, excellent service and classy surrounds, 8 on the Point is well worth the few extra dollars.

Amazing, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was so so good, we had 2 small kids with us and the wait staff could not be more friendly or do enough for us, I highly recommended this place.

It was a very good experience except for one order that was a bit late in being served. But it was no big problem. Very good experience overall.

Always a great experience and very tasty food, great wait service who are always attentive, and good ambience all round. Highly recommended and will be back soon.

Good service, but the food quality and the prices that have to be paid are not too worth. But overall, its a nice and fancy restaurant with a good service
