We had dim sum lunch. Overall the selections were very good. However, we felt the waiter was a bit pushy with the fried plate food. it was just placed on our table whether we take it or not. We have to tell him to remove that plate of food.

Too little wrap for Peking duck. Steamed fish over done.

Apart from the duck, the rest of the food was well below expectations. Even the duck was not what I originally ordered but they had run out of my first choice. I've had better food at local Chinese restaurants. This was supposed to be a bit special so we were very disappointed.

One of the better restaurant for Tim sum lunch. Great selection and quality food. Service is always great too. We ordered a glass of prosecco and it was served in a beautiful glass and absolutely chilled to perfection! A delightful lunch without having to break the bank!

1st visit for myself and my sister birthday girl with great anticipation and expectation I appreciated confirmation of my booking by email and a phone call by a pleasant lady i chose public transport option arrived there after 2 buses and 12 minutes walk , the walk along the river was pleasant found the restaurant after asking and walking through the Korean restaurant wait staff were friendly and attentive , willing to provide a candle if we need it for my sister birthday cake We were placed on the table in the corner sits 8 or 10 too big may need smaller one to provide intimate fine dining the view not as great as i expected the ?view obscured by 2 men smoking Chrysenthemum tea great Danny at the till was friendly thank you , May the love of Christ bless you , your team and all at 8 on the point estherurbanke@gmail.com

We as family of 5 had dinner there for special occasion. Every one enjoyed the food. Mud crab with xo sauce was delicious. Coral trout with salted egg yolk was heavenly. Roast duck was good, slightly salty. We will be back!

Nice place in city with riverview, and there is first parking free now which is good. Food are average but staffs are friendly and attentive. Nice place to bring clients and overseas visitors to eat.

Excellent service, lovely atmosphere, nice and spacious. Food is generous serves, beautifully crafted, light and fresh. The service is really what makes the difference. 8 on the point has food the quality of Silks at Crown without being pretentious, and the service here is far far more attentive and friendly.

Very inexperienced staff for the type of restaurant. Had to ask several times to return my water glass. Had still water topped up in my sparkling water. Not the end of the world but this I would expect from Maccas. Were asked several times by different staff if we were ready to order. Average service but company was great so it was an enjoyable evening.

Looked good online and once there met our expectations. Food was VG , service good and ambiance VG.

Got charged $11 for tap water for the table. One entree was not what we ordered. One main was cold when it got to the table the other one was so late we cancelled it. Food was very salty. On the up side, the waiter was very pleasant when we cancelled the main that was late.

On arrival we were bombarded with choices for food and we hadn't even sat down. We felt very stressed by this. The restaurant is lovely but huge tables and when it is just 2 people it's hard to sit together. As for the food, the Shanghai Dumplings were so big they couldn't fit in your mouth so you had to bite them and all the juice then runs out and the dough was rubbery. The Shumai was rubbery and just warm. The sauce over our steamed vegetables was cold and gluggy. Actually this was probably the worst Dim Sum we have eaten in Perth and the most expensive. $90 for two people and the same at another Dim Sum restaurant in Northbridge around $50. So very disappointing.

Overall good meal, atmosphere and great views. Will be back
