Yam croquet was not as nice as last time. Cheong fun has a beautiful sauce.

I feel comparative to other Chinese restaurants in other capital cities it is definitely not value for money .. meals are not out of the ordinary and I was quite frankly disappointed.. Service was ok but the meals average .

Good service but expected a little more attentiveness. Pricing was on the slightly higher end which I don’t mind as long as the food was amazing. Unfortunately it was average, nothing outstanding. Would I go back? Yes. But not in a hurry.

This was our first visit to 8 on the Point. It had been recommended by friends. We enjoyed the food. The menu has good variety. The wait staff were very good.

Responsive to request for a table with water views even though there was four of us. Got our drink and the trolley with dim sums promptly. Staff were courteous and efficient. Price was also reasonable. Will go back and also recommend to others.

Food was great but waiters were a little too keen to remove dishes which were almost finished but not quite.

When I booked weeks before asked to have a table over looking outside, but instead we got one right in front of the front counter.

Found that our choice of food was very greasy, deep fried squid and prawns in particular, also we had the tooth fish which was fried in a light crumb, bit disappointed overall.

Disappointing in that many of the menu items were unavailable, though what we did have was good but not fabulous as compared to my last visit.

As always, impeccable service and some creative food. I'll be back!

If you are looking for fine dining Chinese at its best you can not fault the service or food at 8 on the point. Highly recommend for special occasions as well as for Dim Sum lunch.

Excellent food / service / ambience and very accommodating staff

We had to wait 10min to be seated (this is after being greeted by host and the restaurant was half empty), we had to wait 15min for someone to take our order, and we waited 30mins before our first dish came out. We finished our meal and told wait staff we had finished but we waited another 10min for someone to clear our table...it never happened so after all this waiting we left the table and paid at front desk. It's our 3rd time here and I'm sorry to say that all times we've been it's being the same issue with waiting. The food is very good (and hence why we wanted to give them another go) however unfortunately this is our last visit.
